A move is definitely coming, maybe two. There are currently 7 guards on the roster. Westbrook certainly looks like he's gone. Maybe Norman as well? Or Mann?

Probably they are positioning to sign a marquee free agent(s) next year or beyond. They are not committing to any big contracts. Considering what they want to do in the future, they are not doing bad. The players they signed so far are quality role players and getting younger.

We might see a surprise trade coming the way they are signing today.

First time since Doc was the GM I feel like clippers have no idea what they are doing. Signing a bunch of bums, letting PG walk for nothing, and signing the injury probe Kawhi to a 3 year deal.

PG actually posted his most efficient career numbers last year and played in the playoffs. What did Kawhi do? Miss the playoffs again.

The problem and non problem with Zu is that he's old school. He doesn't have speed to run the floor but has the bulk to box out. Lue has to determine how to use him. He also needs a short mid range shot. A hook is impossible to defend unless you are Wilt. I have been following the clippers since 1991 and never was so disillusioned in looking forward for the upcoming year than as of now. This year I don’t know if there would much cohesiveness due to the kind of players they are assembling. Either a DeMar or Klay or a Bridges would have helped us but we are not successful in getting any of these players. Getting any of these players would have helped us in selling tickets in the new dome. KL and JH are washed up…period!

Brace for lot of painful days in the upcoming season unless they found a way to add an impactful player.

I actually find the season very exciting, because new players or a change in the style of play can bring something to replace PG. Personally, I find PG's style of play really ineffective at times. That's why team-oriented basketball might actually be promising if Kawhi isn't injured at playoff time.

Clips rumored for sign and trade to get Tyus Jones. He is decent, but giving up RW and other stuff to get him? I would not do it unless RW says he wants out.
