Celtics trade Lamar Stevens, a 2027 2nd round pick and a 2030 2nd round pick to Memphis for Xavier Tillman

Not sure what the Grizz are doing. They first traded Steven Adams to Houston and are now getting rid of their backup C in Tillman. I'm thinking that they will have Aldama full time in the pivot or will go small with JJJ moving to PF

Detroit trades Kevin Knox, a 2024 2nd round pick and the draft rights to Gabriel Procida to Utah for Simone Fontecchio

Not sure what either team is doing here. Knox and Fontecchio basically cancel each other out so the Jazz just get a free 2nd rounder and draft rights to a Euro stash player

Detroit trades Monte Morris to Minnesota for Shake Milton, Troy Brown Jr. and a future 2nd rounder

This makes a little more sense for Detroit. Morris was hurt most of the season while Shake and Troy Brown are underrated

Detroit trades Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks to New York for Evan Fournier, Quentin Grimes, Ryan Arciadacano, Malachi Flynn and 2 future 2nd rounders

Pistons helping their vets go to winning situations. Fournier gets a chance to prove he still belongs in the league

Indiana trades Buddy Hield to Philly for Furkan Korkmaz, Marcus Morris and three 2nd round picks

Philly was going to sign Hield as a free agent anyways so at least the Pacers can say that they get something for him. I'm guessing Philly is looking to have Embiid back in time for the post season so they want Hield to make that championship push as opposed to waiting until next year

Utah trades Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Agbaji to Toronto for Otto Porter, Kira Lewis and a 2024 FIRST round pick

The 1st round pick is the highlight here for Utah although it's the least favorable of OKC/Clippers/Houston so that will most likely be in the 25-30 range

With RJ Barrett and now KO joining Chris Boucher, the Raps seem to be putting out a team with more and more Canadians

Charlotte trades Gordon Hayward to OKC for Vasilije Micic, Davis Bertans, Tre Mann and unknown draft compensation

Thins out a loaded and deep OKC roster. Roles will now be more clearly defined. I see Cason Wallace playing more lead guard off the bench as opposed to off the ball

As for Charlotte, a lot depends on what the draft compensation is. With OKC's treasure trove of picks, it could swing this deal in their favor. I guess we'll soon find out

Philly trades Daniel House, cash and a 2nd rounder to Detroit for a heavily protected 2nd round pick via NY

Philly avoids the luxury tax with this deal. House makes Detroit really deep at the 3 spot so they get him, cash and a 2nd rounder for basically nothing

I believe they want to be eligible when the buyout market opens by getting their payroll below that threshold. Due to the new CBA, they might have a good chance at signing someone good at that time.

Toronto trades Dennis Schroeder and Thad Young to Brooklyn for Spencer Dinwiddie

Toronto gets the better of this deal. Thad Young is pretty much done at this point while Dinwiddie is better than Schroeder. Word is that while Dinwiddie didn't openly ask for a trade, there were rumblings that he wanted out so Brooklyn probably just wanted to get what it could

Ahh, I could see that too. I'd be curious to see who they are targeting

Milwaukee trades Cam Payne and a 2nd round pick to Philadelphia for Patrick Beverley

Milwaukee upgrades their defense. Makes sense given that the trade for Lillard made them a much worse defensive team. Beverley has always gotten under Lillard's skin so hopefully this doesn't ruin the locker room

Charlotte trades P.J. Washington to Dallas for Grant Williams, Seth Curry and a lightly protected 2027 1st round pick

Dallas must really like Washington as I thought they were high on the off season acquisition of Williams. Interesting to see how this plays out

Indiana trades Marcus Morris, a 2nd round pick and cash to San Antonio for Doug McDermott

I understand not wanting to keep Morris but McDermott doesn't do much for the Pacers. They've got Nesmith and Mathurin at the 3 spot and Siakam, Toppin and Walker at the 4. I'm guessing Nesmith or Mathurin moves to the 2 spot via the opening from the Buddy Hield trade then McDermott backs up whoever stays at the 3

It appears NY won this trade deadline. They fortified their team after acquiring Bogdanovic and Burks.

So far no trade for Tucker and I am sure he would be the unhappiest guy at this deadline.

3 way trade

Phoenix sends out: Yuta Watanabe, Chimeze Metu, Keita Bates-Diop and Jordan Goodwin

Phoenix receives: David Roddy and Royce O'Neal

Memphis sends out: David Roddy

Memphis receives: Yuta Watanabe

Brooklyn sends out: Royce O'Neal

Brooklyn receives: Chimeze Metu, Keita Bates-Diop and Jordan Goodwin

I like it for Phoenix. David Roddy and Royce O'Neal are more fit for the 3 spot than the 6'3" Eric Gordon. Not sure what the angle is for Brooklyn and Memphis

That's where I'm leaning. They got older though and neither guy is known for defense. Kind of concerning being that they will be playing for Thibs

Warriors trade Cory Joseph, 2025 2nd round pick and cash to Indiana for low level 2nd round pick

I'm thinking this is just to trim the Warrior luxury tax payment. Indy is deep at PG with Hali, TJ and Nembhard

Philly trades Jaden Springer to the Celtics for a 2nd round pick

The Celtics can actually use the back court depth

Denver trades the rights for former 2nd round pick Ismael Kamagate to the Clippers for cash

Yay! The Clips did something. Never a fan of just cash being dealt though. Throw in a 2030 2nd rounder if need be

3 way trade

Dallas sends out: Richaun Holmes & the right to OKC to swap 2028 first rounders

Dallas receives: Daniel Gafford & one of OKC's lesser 2024 first rounders

OKC sends out: Lesser 2024 first rounder

OKC receives: Right to pick swap with Dallas in 2028

Washington sends out: Daniel Gafford

Washington receives: Richaun Holmes

Unless Dallas is horrible in 2028 and there's no protection on the pick swap, this looks like a steal for Dallas. Gafford is much better than Holmes and they get a first rounder from OKC

OKC can afford to give up a first rounder being that their roster is so overloaded

Washington is tanking hard

Boston trades Delano Banton to Portland for a protected 2027 2nd round pick

Blazers take a flier on Banton

Bucks trade Robin Lopez & cash to the Kings for ?????

Sounds like another luxury tax trade. Bucks can save around $10 million in luxury tax payments
