Clippers Get Baba Miller, Nick Martinelli and Narcisse Ngoy in 2nd Round 2026 Draft

Clippers Forum » Clippers News & General Discussions

Nick Martinelli and Narcisse Ngoy were via trades for cash and the 52nd pick, respectively.

Baba Miller looks like an athletic big man. He was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team and finished second in the conference with 13 double-doubles. Averaged 13-10 and 3.7 APG.

Nick Martinelli is a small forward who can score. He actually put up the highest PPG by a Northwestern player since 1970, with 23-6-2 on 51%, 42% from deep.

Narcisse Ngoy is a 7 footer from France- looks like a draft and stash situation. Apparently Ngoy is planning on attending Auburn in the upcoming season.

It's a shame that the Clippers G-League affiliate moved to San Diego. I used to love the convenience of seeing them in Ontario, which is only one city away from mine. I doubt we'll see any of these guys get any minutes on the Clippers.

Yeah very unlikely any of them will make the team, but you never know. Look forward to seeing them in the Summer League with Keaton Wagler next month. I think it's been awhile Clipper fans are excited about summer league again- reminds me of the season before Kawhi came over.

We are so thin for big men that I see Baba Miller hanging around.

I actually think Baba and Martinelli are here to stay. Not sure about the Ngoy guy. Never heard of him and I'm supposed to be the draft guy lol. I hear he's going back to Auburn. What does this mean for his future with the Clips? Do the Clips hold his rights similar to how Boston held Larry Bird's rights while he played his senior year at Indiana State or does he go back into the draft when he's done with his Auburn career?

How can he go back to Auburn if he's drafted?

If the information is true, that Ngoy never formally declared for the draft, then this is particularly interesting.

In that scenario, there's certainly nothing stopping him from going to play in the NCAA ranks for Auburn.

How can he enter the draft, without declaring for it?

I'd rather have him on the Clippers, in summer league and training camp.

Maybe as a two-way player if he looks decent up to that point.

Better coaching, facilities, and better competition to go against.

Yeah, I don't understand this new element of the draft. Seems like every story has a different wrinkle to it leaving us confused. Regardless, this seems like one of the few cases and as you say, there is still hope he signs a 2-way and plays in the G league

Also, I hope this doesn't become some new trend. What happens if a bunch of players decide that they don't like where they are drafted? Can they just go back to school?

Yeah, I hope the games are scheduled on a Sunday. I'd love to go watch SL.

Yanic Konan-Niederhauser and Baba Miller are the exact kind of front court we need. Length, athletic ability, and both guys can kinda dribble the ball for big men. This is how you build a front court that can deal with Wemby, Giannis, Chet, Mobley, etc. With any luck, Baba Miller becomes a poor man's Lamar Odom.

I've seen Martinelli play. He can ball. Who knows, maybe he can become David Lee 2.0.

I'm fine with Keaton Wagler. He can pass the ball and shoot. He'll be solid in the pick n' roll. Deron Williams and Andre Miller weren't lightning quick either.

But from here on, stick to the script. Get long, switchable defenders. Pick up PWat.

PWat would be nice but everything I hear is that Denver will match any offer given that he's restricted. I guess they could work a sign and trade but just not sure what Denver would want in return
