Kawhi Leonard and the Salary Cap

What's up with this salary cap thing? Unless the fine is maybe $500 mill Ballmer doesn't care and do we really need draft picks? If Beal works we are set. Is this a crime? If guilty what's the punishment? Leonard is as guilty as Balmer is. If Ballmer did it he's far worse than DTS and DTS had to sell the team. Should this be Ballmer's penalty?

Here's what I find crazy. Trump was guilty not because he paid a porn actress but because the stupid MF wrote it off on his taxes. If he didn't, who cares? Put the money in a secret account. He must have been a bum f*ck. Why didn't Leonard just show up? Guys like Ballmer likely think the rules don't apply IF he did it.

Yeah, Ballmer wipes his you know what with $30 million. No loss there. And if the draft picks are every other year and they lose just 3 of them then I'm ok with that too. Like you said, Ballmer will pay whoever to take the place of whatever position of need they would cover via the draft

Those penalties sound super harsh. I hope that doesn't come to fruition, as the penalties, especially the loss of 3 first round draft picks, are severe. Sounds like it should go to some sort of impartial jury trial so that all facts are revealed.

That's one of the worst things you can do. The CBA balances teams and keeps deep pockets from owning the league. The punishment has to HURT and HURT or he'll do it again. He's obviously a crook (if he did it) Maybe not draft picks. $30 mill is no deterrent. He'll do it again. $130 to $145 BILLION minus $30 mill 129.97-$144,97. Peanuts. Minus $500 mill $225.5-$144.5. I'd really like to fine him a billion or sell the team. Again what did DTS do? His girlfriend tricked him into making racist comments IN PRIVATE and made it public. So what? As long as he doesn't do racist things with the team, who cares? He hurt nobody yet he had to sell the team. In jest I have said HORRIBLE things. I would like to see him be forced to sell. Follow precedent.

It would but that would seem a little harsh. Maybe a forced sale being that he's invested $4 billion into the team, arena and surrounding development. He could probably fetch at least $5 billion for it now so he would come out ahead
