So someone who spends his heart earned money on courtside seats against the depleted Jazz is considered a fair weather fan. I will personally be offended. Austin was yelling expletives at all of us as far as I'm concerned. **** Austin, **** Doc, Ballmer, please get these a****** out of here.
As long as Doc and Austin are still on this team, I hope we lose every game. We suck anyway, might as well make those a****** look bad until someone in our FO get's their thumbs out of their asses and fires them. I never hated a player and coach on my own favorite team so bad in my life.
This is just getting worse by the day. The rivers are going to turn the clippers into the knicks by year end. Gotta get them outta here asap

Let’s all be real for a second. If this story was about Patrick Beverly, we’d be seeing a lot more:
-I love this guy’s fire!
-He is dedicated to this team!
-So glad we picked him up!
Obviously, none of us know exactly what the guy was saying, but I’d put a strong bet he was out of line. I don’t see how some Hollywood producer douche overspending so he can be seen on TV makes him entitled to anything. Fans are idiots. They think they can call someone a p*ss point-blank and there are no consequences because they paid for admission.
Personally I like Austin’s fire and trust his nerve more than anyone else’s on the roster. Guy is all grit and heart. TEAM AUSTIN.

The guy was probably saying the same thing that any of us would say. Players get heckled all the time. You can't let someone, especially at a home game get under your skin. Austin wouldn't be anything without Doc. He's the only one in the NBA that has the green light to shoot 3-teens and not get benched. I don't care how depleted the Clippers are at the guard position, any coach would throw Austin on the bench and keep him there and allow some rookie to get some pt. Especially if there is no hope for the playoffs.
Another thing. If it was Beverley, he would be suspended BY THE TEAM. Doc won't suspend his own son.
If it were Josh Smith, Lance Stephenson, or a rookie, yes. Beverley? No way, they love the guy. They like Austin too, I'm not going to fault him for that.
I know we think we know what's going on with this team, but is it possible that maybe Austin works his tail off in practice, far more than any other available player at his position on the Clippers, and he's earned some respect from the coaching staff? Coaches love effort, and he never disappoints in that dept.

My mom tells me that my brother, my dad and I are the 3 most handsome men on the planet. She's totally right about me, I not too sure about my dad and brother, though.

I don't care who it is you don't cuss at your own home fans. The NBA has rules in place for a reason but only real tools have it enforced against them at their own home arenas
Lol, thanks for brining things into perspective. A parent can't handle being objective
about their own kids, (or at least in your case about your brother and dad ![]()

Well, Team Austin is in trouble because this isn't Austin's first encounter with fans. He has priors so unless you can point to Beverley having the same problem, you're putting up a strawman argument. I do agree that fans can be idiots but there are remedies for that. They tend to get kicked out. There is also player protocol that prevents players from going after fans because we don't want things to escalate into another malice in the Palace.
You would think an NBA player would be smart enough to know you should ignore heckling...Most players do. What puts Austin in a special category, and when I mean special, I mean stupid as hell because the heckling wasn't even directed at him. That makes him a moron. I get it, he's trying to stand up for his "players" ( A LA - I'm now the leader) but what kind of leader goes after fans at home? That takes a special kind of kind of stupidity. Probably just nerves since his dad just cleared the way for him to lead the team.

His "effort" takes away from the team as a whole. He's more concerned proving the world that he deserves his spot despite his dad saving his career. Don't you get that? By the way, I don't disagree with you that Austin is probably one of the hardest working players on this team but that is only because he has to. Any sign of him coasting and keeping his minutes will surely cause resentment...which I'm sure it has for other obvious reasons. That's why you see a player always overcompensating in his words, actions, and selfish play. That is why Kevin Durant said that Austin ‘irrationally confident’. He has to put up that front otherwise, it would consume him. he has to know people hate him just on that fact alone.
I would of vouched for Austin last year but this year he plain sucks!! He doesn’t play defense at all this year and he tends to just want the ball more now that CP3 is out.
Just look at every time they get the defensive rebound he stays in the free throw lane and claps his hands asking for the ball. Then the way he tries the same move over and over. Yeah he has scored on a few games and done ok but nothing to see as promising anymore.
