Jerry West Where Are You?

Jerry West step out front and center and handle this team like it should be, enough already

fans overrated him. He got a bunch of potato chips for CP and decided to roll the dice on the season with a 30 year old fragile point guard rookie with no back up. He's up there with Austin as overpaid Clippers. Oh and he signed Galo

what !!! i believed he was signed on after those moves were done.

We can only speculate as to who made what calls on trades. I like to believe that the Gallo signing was not made by Jerry. No one in their right mind should take on a contract for an injury prone player. This smacked of desperation.

Yes , thankyou !! Jerry will ask for tough changes , so it might get worst before it gets better ,but it will get better !!!

Who knows who specifically did what. West is an adviser with no official power, other than his power to influence. I would like to think it was he who brought us Thornwell and Evans, two excellent second round picks.

Gallinari sounds like Doc's handiwork.

If we move Gallinari, DJ, Beverly, Austin and Wesley (wisely), plus land a high draft pick next year, I think we can put ourselves in a good spot.

The off season will be very interesting. I can't wait until this miserable season is over so we can get to it.

Wes is looking more and more tradeable however if continues to play like he is now he won't be a bad bench SF. If Deker continues as is, he can go. As far as Evans, remember when Bledsoe was a foul machine? Evans won't bite on every veteran trick soon if he gets the minutes. Anybody good in the draft?

I think we will get a great trade by christmas!

who will go out??? who will we get??

Jerry West is on the job!

Don't worry!

Lots of teams banged up in the west, we might be able to grab the 7th spot.

DJ has to be traded. Get an expiring contract an some draft picks. Maybe a 1st and a future 2nd. Hope to land a top 3 pick in the lottery with our pick. Next season, a top 3 pick, a mid round 1st with Blake, Teodosic, Evans and Thornwell. That's a pretty good looking nucleus. I didn't include Gallo and Austin because Austin will probably get traded also and Gallo will be on the injured list. We still have Lou and Beverley as trade bait for more picks or a younger player with upside. Things aren't as bad as they seem. We do have some assets to work with. It just takes good drafting with a little bit of luck and Clips will be back in the playoffs in a couple of years. Hopefully, the Clipper curse will be gone by then.

I am just worried about those pick if we can get, because while Doc is the coach, rookies can't get enough PT for them to develop. Ballmer need to get rid of Doc first. Austin is fine to stay until he can prove to a new HC that he is legit.

Well, the last 2 picks seem to be good picks. Like I said though, "with a little luck."!

It's barely December. Let's give it some time. I want the best trade for DJ, not the quickest one. I honestly don't think anything will improve until Doc and Austin are gone.

I don't think we will get to much do DJ anyways that's why a full rebuild is needed
