Clippers Get Danilo Gallinari, Trade Crawford & 1st Rder

Clippers Forum » Clipper Rumors

Clippers will do a S&T with Denver for Gallnari.

This is a Doc move. Ignoring the flashing warning signs. But maybe we can unload a bad contract.

Please tell me it's Jamal being traded.

I don't think it's a for sure thing yet

Link? Gut instinct or do you have a source?

If the Nuggets want Beverly, then we have to sign Rondo or Felton.

Then say no. Keep Beverly he's more valuable then Gallinari.

Agreed.

Gallinari arrives in LA.

Well it's looking like Gallinari is going to be a clip, just a matter of time and finding a third team. Good trade if he stays healthy and if we trade Jamal or Austin. He's still a poor defender and very injury prone. Hopefully West was involved in this and knows what he's doing.

I'm going to be PISSED if we give up Lou or Beverley... Twitter commenters are saying "They're going to trade Beverley" ... If that happens, a revolt needs to happen.

Also,

I'd much rather have Shabazz to go a long with our younger players / youth movement.

Yea that would sucks if we lose Beverly. Jamal, Austin, or Lou should be the ones to be traded

Interested in seeing who they end up trading. This will be the first sign of the direction this FO is taking. Crossing fingers for something good.

Crawford has 2 years left... little Rivers ,one year and his option for second year if he chooses.. DJ one year..

We can lose little Rivers next summer or pay him more?

We can lose DJ next summer or pay him more?

That Is what needs to be handled now!!!!!!!!!!!

we need to trade either DJ or little Rivers,

Or if Boston gives us an offer we can't refuse for Blake...

Beverly in only making 5 mil this year. with a team option for next year at 5 mil...so he is going nowhere...period!

DJ and Little Rivers combined 40 million!!!

Trade both and get Gallo and a center..

We have options this year and Jerry West should get us a great deal..

My guess is Jamal, Austin and Brice

Hmmm- not sure about Gallinari, only because of how often he gets injured. He has averaged, what, only around 50 games a season? Tired of the injury excuses that this team (and perhaps the coach) can lean back on.

When he's not injured though he's truly one of the most underrated players in the league. Scores at will, underrated defender, and a master at drawing fouls. Kind of a risk but will definitely be a helpful addition to the team. Hopefully we don't give up too much.

anything new on the Galli trade front, I hope we get this done and try and get bledso from the Suns

Is there talk of that? How would we do that?

Need a third team for Galo to a sore Austin or Jamal's contract. I think Milsap accepted an offer from Denver so Galo is gone but it's gonna be hard finding a third team without losing anymore draft picks. Dunno about Bledsoe. Just a rumor that Suns are having a fire sale except for Booker anyone is up for trades

If Austin goes then so be it BUT I prefer Jamal who is 37 and on a heftier contract at 14.5mil.

Sounds like they are still meeting. Either we can hear something tonight or wait till morning for any news. Let see what pans out.

We have a Better chance of landing Gallo now since Milsap signed with Denver

Adrian Wojnarowski

Doc better not do anything stupid like giving up Dj for Danilo

Just because it went well doesn't mean we'll get him. We'll see!

Durant was also impressed the Clippers presentation last year and he went to Warriors.

Like Gallo's game, but the same worry when I've talked about him before. Blake has struggled with injuries and you're adding a player who averages about 60 games/season to the team, not the best option from that standpoint

fantastic/just great.... yet another "underrated" defensive player.... one of the worst defensive tandems in the league at the forwards spot.

and no way to Shabazzy Shazz, and.... no thank you without Austin leaving the building.

not in favor of this move at all.... just moves us farther from any championship aspirations.... less defense is not more.

Well he's ten times better than Wes when healthy and you seem to really like Wes...

Looks like Gallo is coming to the Clippers for 3 years per Wojnarowski's tweet (not yet confirm though)

I wonder what they gave up?

Man turning Jamal and Diamond Stone into Gallanari, injury prone as he may or may not be, is awesome.

Basketball wrote:

My only issue with Danilo is health... Between him, Patrick Beverly, and Blake we may have the most injury prone starting lineup in the history of the NBA. When healthy I like Danilo. Now we would need a long SG that can play some defense, shoot 3's at an average rate, and slash to the basket.

Just one year?

Also a first round pick. But that's definitely not Bad.

Mr. West is the GOAT. Funny how you watch Doc for 6 years make horrible personnel decisions, and a guy like WEST comes in and less than a month already making really good moves.

This is why you don't trade 1st round picks for nothing. Now it's the centerpiece in a trade for a borderline all star, starter. Thanks Houston.

YES LORD! "Jamal and more" would go to ATL and Gallinari would go to LA, Millsap to Denver

We just love including first round picks...

That's the value to the hawks. You think they did this trade for Jamal? They did us a favor in taking him off our hands. lol

I would be more than happy to give up a 20-30 pick for a borderline all-star and dumping Jamal's huge contract.

I don't know what the best part is: No more Jamal, being SET at the 3 with Gallinari and Dekker, or STILL having the MLE to work with.

God bless Jerry West.

Yes... West is a genius. I see what he is doing. I could be wrong, but I expect DJ gone as some point this season. He is a free agent next year and we all know DJ will bolt given his history. I just wonder what WEST will get for him.

As much as this board harps on Austin Rivers destroying humanity, I figured everyone wanted him to be Atlanta's prize...?

I think we all can agree EVERYONE would rather see Jamal's contract go before Austins. We still have Austin as trade bait which makes West even more of a genius.

I like the no more Jamal toy for Doc!! 😂

Jamal was only making 1.5 mil less than Draymond Green that's how bad Jamal's contract was affecting the Clippers. And who's fault was it?? "DOC" 😡

Jamal expected to request buyout, really hope he goes to Cavs
