Quick!! Give DJ the max!!!

Wow, players are gonna get paid! Looks like Doc will have lots of wiggle room in the coming years to improve the bench. Lol

Giving DJ the max is as obvious as the nose on anyone's face. League leading rebounder in this day and age = max. Period.

How many players do we have under contract? How much room is there for FA's. Salaries will go through the roof. How many guts can opt out?

It looks like on the books

CP $21,468,696

BG $18,907,725

JJ $7,085,000

Spencer $5,543,725

Wilcox $1,159,680.

Jamal and Matt, Hudson aren't guaranteed Somebody else can add it up.

A max contract will be a bargain for DJ soon enough.

DJ stated he was not going tobe greedy and take s one year deal thst would get him lot more money with 2016 salary cap bump. So we sign dj a longterm max contract and si longrun he is a deal and DJ is hsppy to plsy with his buddies blake and cp3. Its nice to see clips and DJ do the smart thing.

so i am thinking that we had a good Talent evaluator we could get a couple of players this summer and get them on long term contracts while cheap then in 2017 our contracts become bargaining chips because there cheap. Good GM's will be collecting players this summer getting ready

Just in the back of my mind makes me think it was raised so poor down and out team like the Lakers can buy real players to offset the duds they have to pay now.

I don't think the lakers are paying too many people long term. Matter of fact, even Kobe should be gone by the time the new huge cap arrives
