I’m low on the coaching staff, but do think JVG has been a helping hand there. I’ve noticed he’s in the running for head coaching positions and I believe if he leaves it will be detrimental to us.
I think Orlando had him as a candidate as well.

If he's willing to coach for what little they'll pay him in Portland then he's the best candidate for that job. I'm sure Ballmer will hire a top notch replacement though
I hope he stays with the Clippers.
But I'm also a fan of his coaching, so I wish him success elsewhere. I'd like to see a good coach get another opportunity in the league, so if he finds a head coaching job elsewhere, then good luck to him.
But, if it's another assistant job elsewhere, then I'd be disappointed his decision. Or I'd want to know what his reasons for leaving were.

I hope we can keep him. However, he is a big name, so I doubt he'll decide to stay on as an
assistant.

I hope he stays as our defense got better under his coaching. He is one of the front runners for the Orlando and Portland HC jobs but with Donovan, Thibodeau and Kidd available, we might be able to continue having him.
Although JVG is out of an HC job for a longtime, he will still make a good HC.
