Clippers at Golden State Warriors Game Day 2025-04-13 (P. 2)

Clippers Forum » Clippers Game Day

Kawhi misses the jumper at the buzzer- and it's OT

OT it is.

Thought someone could've cut as everyone else as just standing around. Didn't like that play.

Harden!!

Harden, bingooooo!

The Beard, again from deep!

Green 7-35 shooting 3's recently, but is 4 of 6 this game. Ugh.

Zu, the pick vs Curry, now Harden the floater on the goaltend! Clips up 121-117

How many and-1's for Butler now? I've never seen a player get so many vs the Clips in recent history.

Clippers are challenging this- Dunn didn't seem to touch him, at least in any sort of way to influence the shot

Good challenge. That was a BS call in the first place.

How is that not a foul????

Clippers thankfully win that challenge. Lol Green misses the layup and Kawhi can seal the game here at the line.

KL just 1 of 2 though, so Warriors can tie with a 3, 6 seconds left.

Hield misses, and the Clippers are going win! What a game!

Kawhi was huge in regulation, but Harden was the hero in OT. Clippers clinch the 5 seed and will face the Nuggs in the first round.

Nuggets, with the turmoil they're facing, are ripe for the picking. Let's see if the Clips can knock them off- got a good feeling about it.

A great game! Enjoyed a lot but has to be careful with unforced turnovers.

Good luck in the playoffs!

Fantastic end to the season. We can beat Denver. OKC, maybe if we average 50% from distance?

What a game, what a win. This team has really showed some heart this season. Bring on the Nuggets.

How about 47 & 48 minutes by Leonard & Harden. They were masterful- just need to cut down on the turnovers. Big Zu was terrific as well as he had 23-17, 3 assists and zero turnover. Not to mention he intimidated so many Warrior shots inside. Dunn had a great game trying to defend Curry & Butler, and 4-4 FG's include hitting all his 3's.

Powell & the bench underperformed, but pretty confident they'll bounce back & step up in game 1.

Another 50 win season by the Clips. I don't think anybody thought that was going to happen at the start- not even close. Just an incredible job by the players & coaching staff.

Game highlights:

Great win although a part of me wanted to see an L Word vs. Warrior first round matchup. That way we would be guaranteed of not seeing one of them get to the 2nd round lol. Great win nonetheless for the Clippers. Showed some stones down the stretch

Also, I'm confused on what would've happened with the Clips had they lost. Would they be the ones in the play in vs. Memphis? If so, I don't think that would've been the worst thing in the world. While Denver isn't who they were two years ago, and assuming the Clips would beat Memphis in the play in, I think Houston would've been the easier first round foe

Or is this wrong. What would've happened had the Clips lost yesterday?

Yes they would have hosted Minn as a 7th seeded team. I like our chances with Houston than Denver but hate to see us playing in a Play-in tournament- anything can happen in a one-off game. Memphis is a hard nut to crack.

On our other post of preferring L-Word team against GSW, at least there is a chance of both getting eliminated in the 1st rd😉. That is even better than seeing one advancing.

Haha good point. I just don't know if I like Minnesota after seeing the way that they choked against Luka last year but I hope I'm wrong

I just don't believe in Houston. Fluke record IMO. Can't see them beating a team with Butler and Curry but I'll be rooting for them
