The Los Angeles Clippers plan on pursuing Rajon Rondo in free agency.

Rondo spent the past two seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers and played key rotation minutes during their title run. Rondo plans to test the open market in free agency after playing for the veteran's minimum.

The Clippers are believed to be prioritizing a traditional playmaking point guard as that was an issue during their disappointing second round exit.

I never disliked Rondo until he went to Lakers and then I despised him. Rooted hard against him in the post season, however after watching his performance I think he’d be an excellent pick up. Dude brought it. Unbelievably he seemed to really improve his shot which means can pretty much do it all.

I hate this move mainly because he's a Laker Free Agent, but yes, he would definitely help us. Locker Room presence, could rally the team together in game and great court vision. The only thing is can he stay healthy again? Lakers lucked out w/ his health. I mean the guy broke his thumb before the bubble started.

Health is the issue, but honestly we can make the top 2 seeds with Paul George and Kawhi alone. We just need playoff Rondo.

Do whatever it takes to win. The embarrassment of how we loss plus the lakers winning its title or bust

Nothing leaks out of our front office. This is Rondo's agent driving up the price. Would I like him on the team? For the playoffs sure

I think the possibility of rondo grooming T Mann would be nice

Good catch. Clippers probably haven’t even called yet lol. Putting a fire under the lakers.

I agree with this completely. Rondo wants more money and our office is uber-professional when it comes to confidentiality.

Recently, our focus has been “What would cheese off the Lakers most?” With that in mind, if the Lakers want CP3, that’s likely what we’re trying to do.

Could we even get CP0 though? That contract is huge. He's owed $38 million, so we would have to give up Beverley ($12 mill), Williams ($8 mill), and Harrell ($6 mill) just to start. I'm not going to lose sleep trading away these three players, but anything else beyond that and that's a whole lot of players for a point guard that seems to break down when it matters most. Plus, the locker room is in enough turmoil. Can you guys imagine how quickly they would get tired of CP0 barking at them?

At $7 million per year, we ought to be targeting Derick Rose.
