Great video breakdown of the Clippers.
Bball Breakdown: The Team That Has Shocked the World
Clippers Forum » Clippers News & General DiscussionsWe've been this successful despite terrible offense from our guards. I can't imagine what things will be like when their shots start falling as well. Shai is our only rotation guard that shoots over 40% from the field.
Coach Nick is horrible. If he was such a great basketball coach he would have been a high paid college coach by now. His breakdowns are really basic and he doesn’t even understand that the clippers offense it seems. But hey he has to create click bait views, glad to see he gives us credit for a PR standpoint for the Clipps but his opinion is worth jack.
Good point! Tobias and Harris will probably cool off some but it should be a net positive because Lou, Bradley and Beverly are shooting so terrible
I've been wondering the same thing. How dangerous would we be if we got some consistent shooting from our guards. I'm literally surprised Doc "I like shooters" Rivers hasn't given Jerome more of a look in games.
Between Lou, Avery, Beverley and SGA we are currently shooting 30% from 3pt land per game, making only 3.5 out of 12 three point attempts it would be reasonable for them to be making at least 1 more per game bringing the average to 37.5%.
The Clippers are starting to catch everyone's eye. It's crazy how in just 2 seasons that the Clippers went from one of the most hated (for the wrong reasons) teams in the league to probably the most loved team. The Clippers are no longer out of the radar and will be under a giant microscope really soon if they continue to win. I know that I already compared this team to the 2002 Angels, but another team the Clippers remind me of are a likeable version of the Legion of Boom Seahawks; team full of rejected, underrated talent teaming up to shock the world. We'll see if the Clippers can maintain this production throughout the season.
The guys on this team are reliable. They bring it. You can expect Tobias, and Trezz to get theirs and Gallo too on a daily basis. I feel like we can trust them. There is no flash in the pan. As a matter of fact our guards have not been playing well. There are no temper tantrums. The team is being respected for hard work and toughness, not TV commercials. Barring injuries and 17 year locust, we will only get better. As far as "star" we will see how SGA, Tobias and Trezz turn out. They won't get worse. When Luc is back our D will be absurd.
Doc is not playing with a short rotation and nobody stinks it up. He has played at least one rookie and he will play Jerome when Jerome is ready. Doc also for the first time looks happy. We are not hated anymore.
