Sweet breakdown!! I'm so excited for the return of lob city. Blake needs to rediscover his roots.

I havent enjoyed the Clippers for 3 years. Win or lose this team is gonna be fun!
Looks like he is better than CP, his passing is amazing, he runs and don't hold the ball that long. Hopefully Doc will give him enough min for him to develop and adjust the NBA game a lot faster.
Offensively I have no doubt he can match most of what Cp3 does if given the right role. The big concern is how bad will his defense kill you? It's a must to put him next to a defensive stopper at other guard spot+have DJ in at all times when Milo is in probably.
This guy is the key to our season, the only really unknown save for chemistry.
If we look at our team without Milos or future trades, we can see a strong front court and a weak backcourt without any true point guard or great shooter. It is also a very small collection of players. Frankly, it's three combo guards in Austin, Williams and Beverly. I just can't imagine this team winning more than 45 games or doing any better than a first round playoff ouster.
Now add Milos and bigger things become possible. With his shooting, passing and playmaking ability, this could be a dynamic offensive team if Milos is able to translate his game seamlessly to the NBA. We should be every bit as good as we have been for the last several years and, with our added depth, we could conceivably be even better. Obviously, that's putting a lot of pressure on a guy who has never played in the NBA, but so be it. He may not be the straw that stirs the drink (that will be Blake), but he may be that splash of lime that makes the whole thing work.
The season belongs to Milos.
Settle down. A 30 year old euro rookie is as good "offensively as cp3". I'll just assume you really don't know how great cp3 is.
Milos looks solid. But let's not put unrealistic expectations on the guy.
I'll be happy if he can knock down the 3 ball at a good rate and average 5-6 apg.
Lob city is dead. Blake has had what 5 surgeries now? The latest is on his foot, which they say may not be fully healed by the start of the season.
I'm excited about this new season but have set realistic expectations.
I can't wait for Milo to turn Blake into a Karl Malone 2.0 that's we've been waiting for. With CP gone and Milo here, I think at least 25 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists are very realistic. Russell Westbrook watch out!
I am excited to see this guy in a real game same as Lakers excited to see Lonzo Ball play in the NBA level game, both are need to prove their game in the coming months.
JJ would've been a good fit on offense with Teodosic. It will be exciting to see how Teodosic meshes in with the guys- hopefully he and some of the key guys like Blake, DJ, Gallo can get together even before training camp for a few workouts. Never too early to develop chemistry.
Instead of still bringing or comparing people to CP3.. Lets just say his game could potentially be a better fit for Blake, DJ and Dallo's game. He's still never has played in the NBA before

Not trying to be unrealistic. Just saying as Teodosic goes, so goes our season. If his game translates well and he can step right in and be solid, then we CAN be as good as last year; possibly better given our added depth. If he struggles to adjust or is a Euro star but NBA dud, then we max out at 45 wins, I think. The difference between 45 wins and a max of 60 will be told by how good Teo is in the NBA.
Obviously, all this depends on Griffin being on the court.
Anybody who says that has never seen Pistol Pete or Cousey. Merivich played with a rare heart problem. He was born without his left coronary artery, the most important one.I wasn't gping to post this anymore but some youngsters need a history lesson.
. Cousey invented the stuff that that upstart is doing. Pick and roll by running down the floor and throwing the ball over his head? Cousey Notice the two handed almost set shot. Screw jump shot. He never missed.
Fast forward to .35. If you watch none see his full court pass at around 220 and most importantly the whole team tired to catch him and foul him. They couldn't. One of the greatest moments eve around 3:00 For you youngsters, this is real music. Get his first album "Dr John the Night Tripper" and fill your legal pipe. What the hell," Mind Flowers" by Ultimate Spinach.
Dear DJ, work on your hands for Milo.
Thanks for posting the Maravich highlights.
When I was a high school player I desperately wanted to be like him, but I was only 5'11", had no skills and no pizzazz. The only thing I could do like him was the hair.
Hybrid of white chocolate and Steve Nash
He probably means when he's either isolated on the post or when he takes one dribble after catching a pass. DJ also isn't good at catching bounce passes but that isn't his fault, the passes sometimes aren't high enough for him.
Obviously, all this depends on Griffin being on the court.
Gallo's missed games each year for his career and then breaking since 14-15:
1 game
20 games
23 games
11 games
82 games
23 games
29 games
19 games
He's only had 2 seasons in his 9 year career where he's missed fewer than 19 games. His rookie year, he wasn't getting DNP-CD's in those 54 missed games, he had a back injury that was season ending. Adding the total missed season, he averages 29 missed games/season. Without that season it is still 22.5 missed games a season. So the expectation for Gallo is about 60 games played in the average season, and last three seasons he's averaged 58 games played.
I don't think people recognize how good he is. He is actually a borderline All-Star caliber player. He's a versatile scorer, he can attack from the perimeter and from the post, he can shoot and he can get to the line at a very good level. He protects the ball very well, he's a good passer and solid ball mover. Last two seasons he averaged 19/5/2 and 60.2 TS%. The obvious issue is how many games of that will you get, and will he be around in the post-season.
