I like this. Definitely thought we should have signed him before warriors.

Eww why? Are we trading deandre or something?

As a back up Centre surely.

Getting Javale now would clear the way to trading DJ later for better assets. It would be a smart pickup.

Settle down Mike Smith... Javale is in no way shape or form ready to "replace" DJ. Definitely good for a backup. Keep in mind he only played 9 MPG last season. Though he made the most of his minutes. Don't think he is ready to jump to 30-36 MPG.

If we trade DJ we surely would need a starting caliber Center.

Don't get excited! It's just a meeting. He's likely to return to GSW unless Doc some magic.

if we somehow were to get a guy like Klay next year, do you think DJ is needed? Javale is not

DJ. We know that. We may not need a top flight center. Who was GS' center last year? Zaza was not considera very good center either when he was signed.

When you have a big 4 the fifth player doesn't have to be good, it is not neccacarily about center's.

a top center is not necessary in today's NBA. I am not saying to just let DJ go. What I am saying is if he can be traded for a very good player at another position,it makes sense to do the trade and slide in a lesser player at center. Someone like Javale,if the price is low can be that lesser player at center.

It's about personnel. Draymon is a DPOY and plays the defensive role at the PF.

Not to mention having an MVP in terms of Durant who is 7 foot.

Comparing our team to golden state is a big mistake.

They could plug pretty much anybody at C with that team.

We don't have that luxury. We actually need a team that has above average players at all positions.

so would you re-sign DJ to big money next season?

Depends how we do this season. And since he's the biggest WP on the team now, I'd be leaning toward yes. Wait and see though is the best approach right now.

What is this WP?

I'd rather have Cole than McGee.

Yesss.

Yea but doc has something against cole. Remember it took him like 30 games just to break into the rotation.

Agreed, but I don't think Doc has much say as he used to. I believe he's on a very short leash (so short they may be looking at replacements).

Vinny Del Negro was a good developmental coach!! He's got the hair too! Just sayin'

The way you add this link behind everything you post as if it validates your arguments is hilarious. You know Trump has found studies that prove climate change does not exist right?

Are you sure it's not Wind Produced? A fa*t in time saves nine. We do know that one of Frankiln's greatest works was F*rt Proudly. Don't feel ashamed to let one go tense2.

Now for something completely different.

Would I sign DJ? Yes.We got killed on the boards. If BG is running the point we will lose his rebounding unless he's Oscar (or Westbrook). Javale was not a f*ck up and even Shaq gave a prop, not props. Cole was good but he was a foul machine and reminded me of Novak on defense which is a ruptured duck.

absolutely sign DJ.... his intangibles are the saving grace to this organization.... the heart and soul.

and will point out again that (pre KD) the Dubs folded against Cleveland in the championship series after Bogut went down.

DJ might not be the answer, but would hate to have to answer to likes of LeBron and Kevin without DJ patrolling the paint.

the query that needs to be rolled out and left out front row and center is: how is it that we still have Rivers & Rivers around here ??
