Are we trying to build the injury squad or what?

HECK YAH!!!!!

When healthy his real good but but but!!! history tells me they have a plastic bones.

Wheelchair basketball. What happened to rebuild?

it's not unheard of for players to turn their health around. He's a really good player when healthy. Just like Gallo.

I like our plan this offseason.

He would be the 4th highly injury prone player on the team

Ugh. I am not liking this one at all. He is not a high character guy. Sad

All these injury risks make an excellent excuse for Doc to keep his job when things go south.

we can change our name to the cripples Smile

I like the idea of getting rose, not at 8 million...more like 5 or 6 so we can stay out of the repeater tax.

He would only play 10 minutes or so a game, giving the rookie pg a few minutes.

If we got him, we could trade little Rivers....

Injury prone players don't always stay injury prone their entire careers.

Let just develop young guys rather picking Rose.

What are the chances 4 injury prone players magically come together and have a miraculous resurgence of health?

I wouldn't bet on it.

I hope the next trade I will read is Doc is traded to Orlando.

*puts on rose colored glasses*

I see all of them making a resurgence in health. Trading for some of Phoenix medical staff would help too, GET THAT ROLLING JERRY!

Would much rather have Rondo! Better IQ and actually plays D.

LMFAO, instant championship

Just when we figured it out on what we're trying to do then there's stuff like this. It doesn't make any sense at all. See what the youngsters got

I would rather have VINNY DEL NEGRO than Doc Rivers.

I'm very inclined to believe that Doc and Frank are actually the ones primarily making all these moves and West truly is just serving as an advisor...just like they said it would be.

I'm not saying Rose is bad, he was actually decent last season compared to some of his other tries, but this is one of those "players who had a good series against me when I was with the Celtics" moves.

Gallinari, that trade, he's been a guy Doc has wanted for 4 or 5 years, very Doc like move.

The CP trade, West wasn't even in the negotiations supposedly and it was Doc and Frank that worked out the whole pick up option and trade, and Morey did most of the leg work in getting enough contarcts to send out.

I accepted taking the risk on Gallo, because whatever, it us what it is, but now adding another player who is injury prone?

We complain about how injuries limit the team in both the regular season and post-season, but then they put together a team of players who based on history have a good chance of getting injured.

Alrighty...we'll see if he even gets picked up and if so it will certainly be an interesting roster

Is there an option for neither?

Well the price would be right, but it's a big roll of the dice. Beggers can't be choosers at this point I suppose, and D-Rose is probably the best one left. If he stays healthy it'd be HUGE because he is still very good. Otherwise it'd be Rondo or Ty Lawson?

He's probably going to be used as a primary ball handler while Beverley is off ball doing the dirty work like screens creating mismatches, waiting for corner threes

Hmmm... Gather the most injury prone players in the league on a team that's supposedly cursed with injuries and see what happens.

I might like the deal if it can swing a sign and trade for Austin Rivers and keep our Midlevel exception available. I still think we need a long athletic defender on the wing. I hope we can bring back Luc.

A sign and trade..we give them little rivers and then give us Rose and a draft pic (first)

Who the heck is going to be the starting shooting guard- Austin Rivers???

Are you guys being serious? Austin for Rose + a pick?? ... Not sure we're giving them a fair trade.

I don't think Rose will accept MLE, or reserve minutes for that matter. I like his game when healthy, but both sides are just wasting each other's time.

Rondo brings so much toughness and playoff leadership to the table, and we'd be paying him pennies after a buyout. Garnett is still connected to the team and could keep him in check. It's the right move to make. Toughness and defense please.

Actually, Austin maybe preferable because of his 3point shooting, youth, durability and defense. Rose brings scoring, a little bit of playmaking, but a whole lot of injury. That pick might be the only way to make it a good deal for us if we did it...

How long could he realistically play for us though?

At this point I'm not sure whether to trust the FO or not because I'm not sure to what extent Jerry West is actually helping. I actually like Rose and I think if we resign Luc and sign a formidable big man, this team is way deeper and actually better than last year's team. However this is all dependent on health so not sure what to expect. The only thing I am sure of though is this is an interesting team for sure and a lot more exciting than just bringing the whole band back together.

IF there's a choice between the two, you want Rondo. Better overall player and sure in hell less injury prone. Stay away from Rose. This would be the first real dumb move in what so far have been pretty good ones.

How many more years does Rondo have though? Wouldn't we want a PG that could last a few years to train our younger guys? What if Rose has a resurgence in health, he could become a great trade asset on a friendly contract.

Wouldn't touch Rose with a 10 foot pole if i was a GM. The guy is one knee injury away from being out of the league IMO.

If it's for the min then OK. Anything more and the management needs to be slapped.

Rondo would be just fine for a year or two. Betting on Rose being healthy is betting on the lotto, lol. Plus Rondo is just the much better overall player.

Definitely should avoid Rose like the plague, he's always a knee injury waiting to happen, compared to him Blake looks like an Ironman.

Rose's games played over his career 81, 78, 81.39, 10, 51 ,66, 64. Given the choice Boogie Rondo is the better choice.

Rondo is healthier, the better 3 point shooter, and playmaker. His long arms make him disruptive on defense even if he doesn't have the same tenacity on that end of the floor that he once had.

Going after Rose would show a dedication to sheer firepower. Even if we can't outscore GS, we should be able to keep up with or outscore Houston and most other teams in the West. That is, if healthy...

Blake, Galo, and Rose will take turn in the injured reserve

I'm conflicted, D Rose is a favorite player of mine. I don't think he fits too well with us. If the thought is bringing him off the bench, I feel we already have Lou that is probably better at this point for that.

I do feel that his 3pt shot will come back somewhat, but that still isn't good enough. I'll be happy either way.

They already signed that Serbian player, we have no more money to offer

that actually isn't confirmed yet. I'm not positive about the legitimacy of the website as well. However, I do hope it's real

Oh yeah, forgot about that one. If we use it that'll put us in the repeater tax right?

Can we add Doc?
