why even change my beloved clipper jerseys to begin with? hell to the no with any "modern" "new clippers" changes. the jersey is iconic.

Can I say butt ugly on this board, because those are butt ugly. What we have now is fine. How about worry about basketball and not some POS new uniform.

I'd love to see that Black uni color palette on one of the current uni designs. Love that color combo.

I like the idea of changing the logo since it's way too similar to the lakers logo, with the ball and the name, and cursive writing, time to step away from that.

However on that note, please no to that logo. I can barely stand the playoff one they came up with, now this. My varsity basketball jersey is better looking than this, and that shan't ever happen with a pro league.

Been asking for this for years. But their suggested one or rumored one is hideous. If they want black and orange Braves colors with San Diego ship logo... oh lord I'd have mangasms. Be unique! No more red plz. 19 NBA teams are red!

I've always wanted to see the clippers add black to their uniforms. I have a black Clippers jersey with blue and red borders and it looks sick and I get compliments for it, even from Clipper haters. The logo looks fugley, though. Either stick to the current logo or have the logo have something to do with an actual Clipper ship.

That logo looks more like a replacement for the secondary logo than the first. And it's still Just a bootleg Cubs logo

If they're smart, management will be scouring forums like this to see Clippers fans' opinions. After all, we're the ones who will be buying them... or not.

I like the cursive writing because I figure the Dodgers started it, the Fakers and the Clippers copied the Dodgers as sort of an LA thing. I think the Clipper logo looks a lot like a basketball version of the Dodger logo also,trying to be all LA.

Agreed, the Dodgers has had that logo since Brooklyn. So I think the FO's thinking , or whomever is trying to change the clippers logo, is to be more unique, especially if I look at the younger generations and people who are not well informed with the clippers history or even LA sports history, trying to compare the two basketball teams, and since the laker came here first, all I hear is "well the clippers copied the lakers." Which I can't back that up since it was DS who was in charge of the clippers. Then the banner talks come up, and this whole legendary lakers argument comes up. Now we all know that's bull and crappy argument.

In my defense, I shut them up with, LA lakers only have eleven rings, the rest happened in Minneapolis. Ask them who the first coach that won LA it's first ring, and of course they don't know who. Then they talk about the rings. So I just counter with the "hot ex girlfriend in high school" argument, yes your ex was hot, she may hAve been a model then, a prom queen, but she isn't now, but my girlfriend is, so get over it. But I digress.

My point is, I hate giving laker fans ammunition for any argument. So a change of logo is a step towards that. Anything close and/or resembles the lakers logo, style, colors, etc? I'm all for change.

That new liogo looks like it was done by a graffic student. Totaly uncreative and obtuse what design firm did they hire? A professional studio should not be putting out such ameturish work. This concept should not have passed thumbnail skech phase.

I hope they are more creative with their final product. That logo looks hideous. Although I do not mind adding black, the main colors should not change. Red, white and royal blue with black added would be awesome.

With this potential new re-design, the Clippers' identity has been completely obliterated. The logo is too plain, doesn't serve the team well, and clearly does not represent. Erase and start over, please.

I've spoken to Ms. Zucker via email.. She is aware of the leaked prototype design. She doesn't want this to be a distraction. She wants fans to support our team & achieve the goal of getting a title. She also said they will look at all other designs in the summer (but not now).

I hope to God these uniforms don't become reality - absolutely awful.

Yeah that uniform looks horrendous. No way that's actually being considered. I kind of don't want them to change colors and unis but if they have to, please don't do that. There has to better designs to consider than that.

Just don't change the name of the franchise.

I like some of these redesigns below that others have done, which encapsulate more of that "Clipper" theme. I think it's probably too cluttered, but it least it's far more interesting than the suggested ones.

I was bored so I made a new logo that's more nautical both in symbol and color scheme, and keeps a similar script for "Los Angeles". Don't rip it too much haha.

I love the rebranding effort and especially love incorporating black jerseys. The Clippers have taken on a villain role this season and black would play into that.

Hopefully, the final product looks a little more polished than what was leaked.

Ah, there is nothing better than stripping any identity out of a franchise. So the Clippers are basically going to be known as The Pacman Gang based on this leaked new logo. If somebody got money to produce that, he or she should be shot dead for lack of any imagination or creativity. As a designer, I am disgusted by this Sega Genesis type of thing. Who cares about the trendy black when you have Ms PACMAN in the middle!

A rebrand is definitely happening. The "leaked" designs are (were) probably what they're leaning towards and wanted feedback from the public. Hopefully they've heard and internalized the negative reaction and either go with one of the other directions that we hope was better, or they go back to the drawing board and work up some more options.
