Looks like Wagler won't play on a back to back night. Pedulla, Sanders, Martinelli, Baba Miller & Telfort starting. #1 pick Dybantsa won't play for the Wiz.

Tempers have flared multiple times already in these Clipper summer league games. That was not a friendly interaction between Baba Miller and Agbakoko.

This is utterly stupid. Why the hell are they not having Wagler play? He's not an old fart like Kawhi that has to sit out games for preventative rest. This is a wasted opportunity to get him in playing shape and used to the physicality of the NBA.

Yeah too early in Wagler's career for load management for sure, but maybe he tweaked something and they're just taking extra precautions. But yeah Wiz shutdown Dybantsa for the rest of the summer league already AFAIK.

Excellent news! I hope both he and Baba can have strong games. I'm a little
disappointed that we resigned Lopez, which will prevent Bab from getting some
heavy minutes.

Nice win! Many guys did well lead by Kobe Sanders' 26-3-5. Martinelli missed just one shot, 19-5-2, Omier 11 and 15 in just 18 minutes. Pedulla 16 and 11 assists though shot only 5 of 16. Baba Miller 12 and 4 in just 20 minutes.
Clippers have have one consolation game to go after this one- hopefully Wagler will play.

Yeah they both had good games, especially Martinelli. Nick plays hard and does a lot of little things in addition to his ability to score. Lopez IMO is still needed for his rim protection + 3 point shooting, but as Niederhauser is likely out until December, Miller should get solid minutes. Though I wouldn't be surprised to see the Clippers sign another big man before training camp.

I get that aspect. With Yanic out we need some presence. But I just think there might
have been better options out there. Lopez is just a stop gap. I would have preferred
the Clippers to have let him go and find a younger, serviceable center that could
have a long term presence here

Sounds a lot like Zubac lol. Then again, we wouldn't have Wagler or Mathurin's bird rights so I guess it evens out. But from the looks of things, having a big like Zubac would trump having the smaller players for this current roster

No, it doesn't even out. Having Wagler, Mathurin, Isaiah Jackson, and another 1st
is a fleece. I love Zubac, and he's going to do well for them, but we got the better end
of that deal.
