Let's cross our fingers for another great showing by Wagler.
Wagler not a good start despite trying to be more aggressive.
Wagler gets another shot blocked- this time on a reverse. He's gonna have to be a bit more crafty on those drives- may seem like a wide open lane but exceptional athletes are lurking all around.
Martinelli solid D on Carr, now the driving layup
Martinelli stops Carr again, runs the other way and drills the open 3!
Good rebound there by Wagler- that's his 4th to go with 3 assists. Zero points though.
A scrum here as Omier undercuts Thiero and other Lakers come and shove Omier who shoves back.
Flagrant foul on Omier plus a tech for that shove back, another tech for a different Clip, and a tech on a Lakers' Manon.
Carr way better than Wagler.

It does look like that for now, but hopefully once Wagler gets used to the physicality he'll make more of those floaters and layups.

Not sure why Clippers didn't challenge that. On the Clipper inbounds, Kaluma forearm bars Sanders which should've been a foul, but they call Sanders instead when he tried to move the arm away. Some bad blood developing there between Sanders and Kaluma as they stare each other down after refs call Sanders again.
Kobe now gets a tech as he jaws at the Laker bench at the end of 3. Clips down 22 after cutting it to 6.

Nifty scoop layup by Wagler, giving him 13 points now to go with 6 boards & 4 assists
My fear is that Wagler turns into another Jared Dudley: a good but reluctant shooter. Let's hope he's just a slow starter.
