How will the young players perform in the Summer League matchup against the Kings? Which rookie or young player will stand out? Which two-way contract candidates will shine?

I wish they would schedule these games on the weekend. Vegas is a short drive away, but having them Mon-Thurs makes it hard to go see them.

Wagler a muted 5 points in 22 minutes thus far. Cam Christie has 13. Clips down 76-64 with 7 minutes to go in the game.

Cardwell now as EIGHT fouls after shoving Baba Miller- that could be a flagrant. They gave him a tech instead.

Clips shooting a crazy bad 27% for the game

Kobe Sanders a nice foray to the hoop, but the Clippers allow Acuff to just go to the hole, who now has 19 points and 6 assists.

How about Baba Miller from the corner, now Martinelli with the putback in the lane. Clips slice it to 9.

Fletcher Loyer with a Luke Kennard-like pullup bingo- timeout Kings!

Keaton Wagler back in the game with 3 minutes to go

Martinelli showing good hustle- steals the inbounds, and now drives and gets fouled.

Gets called for the block, but Clips are calling for a review which shows that the offensive player elbowed him first, so hopefully the call is overturned.

Miller now an impressive block from behind. Refs though giving the Clips the short end of the stick already, even in a summer league game. First not changing that blocking foul to an offensive, now they give Sharp 3 FTs despite him initiating contact.

Wagler a good drive there gets fouled

Clips fall 91-85. Wagler just 1 of 7 FGs, 5 fouls, +/- of -23 in 26 minutes. Can only get better from here I'm sure lol. Acuff for the Kings wasn't exactly lighting it up either as he chucked and bricked a lot, though he did end up with 19 and 7, with a +2.

Most impressive were the Clipper second round picks Baba Miller and Nick Martinelli who show good activity on both ends, especially Miller.

Kobe Sanders had a good game too with 10-6-4 with 4 steals. Same goes for Cam Christie who lead the team with 15 and 8.

Wagler is physically too weak to play in these games where bumping is allowed. Embarrassing game for everyone on Clippers except for Miller and Christie.

Not a good debut for Wagler. However, we have to be patient with his development. He'll find his way

I would love to record these games but every time I try to record summer league games, my dvr gets filled up with every type of replay basketball game or non NBA overseas game during the summer but not the actual summer league game that I recorded. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, you probably have Spectrum also

Anyways, I think I'll just watch the replays on Prime

I liked Martinelli's overall feel for the game. I stereotyped him as a shooter but his passing skills and floor sense are well above average. Good 2nd round pick

I'm so disappointed in Wagler. I'm not worried about his shooting, and he's pretty skinny... so, the strength will come.

But he looks SO SLOW. I haven't seen an actual Point Guard get locked up like that in an NBA game.

That's stuff you see in Youth ball when one of the kids is super tall and has a mustache...

I'm SO excited about Baba Miller... either him or Trevon Brazile, those were the guys I was hoping for in the 2nd Round.

Hmmmm, I wonder if he'll be better off playing off the ball as a two. Utilize picks and get to his spot on the floor and what not. If he's having problems getting by people in SL then that could prove problematic

That's the only reason why the F.O. and scouts were probably not worried about it. They know he has height and can pass out of heavy ball pressure... and he seemed pretty instinctive when they put 2 on the ball. His decisiveness will also pick up with more reps, but how is he going to beat guys like Davion Mitchell, Grande Theft Alvarado, Cason Wallace, Jrue Holiday, Dyson Daniels? It looks like every pass he makes will be a jump pass over someone shorter, LoL

Watching Cameron Carr look great for LAL. He looks so much better than Wagler that makes me mad
