Clippers vs. Trail Blazers Game Day 2026-03-31
Clippers Forum » Clippers Game DayIt's Blazers 8, Lopez 5 after the big guy drives the lane for 2. Avila to the FT line again ugh
DJJ what hustle, battles and wins the offensive rebound- to JC for the monster slam!
Yes that's the way to guard Avila- give him space and make him shoot 3's
Lol DG fakes the pass and everyone runs away from him, then drills the wide open bingo
That's been a good play for the Clippers this season- getting Jordan Miller the ball in the key and let him operate 1v1.
Ugh- Clippers able to get some steals but then just turn the ball over on the push. Blazers up 34-31 at the end of 1Q, keyed by a bunch of second chances leading to 7 made 3's.
Good challenge by Ty Lue as JC with the good D & forced the ball to go off of Henderson
Clips undersized with Collins playing center, allows another offensive rebound, this time by Avilja. Good timeout as the Blazers now lead by 8.
Clippers getting punked now- can't get a rebound after a stop, and the deficit ballons to 17. On offense guys are just unsure- keep pump faking instead of just shooting when open.
Lol Camara tries to dunk on DJJ who just rips the attempt out of the air
Some of these turnovers by Garland have been killers- tries another blind pass behind the head that was intercepted.
Clippers down big 62-46 at the half as Lopez able to tip in Miller's FT miss. Just getting outworked and outshot. Also all the ugly giveaways- turnovers haven't plagued the Clippers like this in awhile.
Clippers klawing their way back. Monster jam by JC, now Garland zooms to the hoop for 2! 10 point game.
Guys are playing harder by come on- gotta play smarter as well.
Ouch- Lopez crashes into Collins who bumps his knee against the floor pretty hard and has to go to the locker room.
Tremendous rotating defense by the Clippers- able to double Avilja and then go back and cover open shooters. But the 3's just aren't falling, and guys aren't able to get the long rebounds, while the Blazers seemingly are getting every one of their long rebounds
Mathurin with probably his worst game as a Clipper so far. Drives into traffic and throws it away- still hasn't scored. Clips though able to get another stop, and the crafty step through layup by Garland cuts it to 8.
Clips cut it to 11, then bats yet another rebound out of bounds, giving Holiday an open 3 which he drains. Now Henderson hits the 3 at the buzzer, and the deficit is 17 going into the 4th. Ouch.
Clippers just unable to cut it below 9. The effort was there in the second half, but the shots just didn't fall, and guys just got outclassed athletically and reaction time-wise. I also think it was a mistake to double Avdija. Guys just spent so much energy chasing the open man. It's just not sustainable. Also one of the reasons so many offensive rebounds were given up.

I watched one half of the game and then switched to the Dodgers. We can lose many ways and I can be cool with it, but giving the other team so many second chance points absolutely grinds my gears.
GRAB THE GD BALL.
BOX OUT and move their bodies away from the REBOUND AREA.
I was watching butterfinger play after butterfinger play. It got to be too much for me.
