Clippers at Pacers Game Day 2026-03-27
Clippers Forum » Clippers Game DayPoor play on both ends by the Clippers in the first half thus far. They have cut it to 17 now after being down 20+. Not making shots is one thing, but can't be allowing layups.
Perhaps Clips trying to tank this game to get higher odds of getting Indy's pick- currently at 47%.
Another stop, now the DJJ steal and and layup- down to 14.
Ouch Garland steps on something out of bounds and hurts his ankle. Thankfully it doesn't seem very serious.
Leonard the steal and slam, now Mathurin 2 more FTs, and the Clips have chopped the Pacers 24 point lead down to 10 at the half.
Dunn to Lopez who hits another bingo- slices it to 4.
They're going small and Lopez is having trouble staying in front- Jackson is in now
Good to see Miller back. Bulls his way inside for 2 and 1! Down to 1.
Former teammates Mathurin and McConnell getting into a hugging match there on the take foul- seemed like no love lost. Math misses the FT but lol draws another foul in 2 seconds.
Mathurin has 15 points with just ONE FG made- helps the Clippers cut it to 2 going into the 4th.
Every time Clips get close, Pacers seemingly will score a couple of buckets in a row. Batum with a couple of good looks from deep but missing those for now.
Not a good sign as Isiah Jackson has to go to the locker room. A little earlier he was tripped and leg got tangled up with another Pacer. He seemed okay afterwards, but perhaps feeling the effects now- hope it's not too serious.
Garland shakes Nemhard who falls to the floor, drills the bingo! Now Mathurin the driving reverse- tied at 101!
Now a good shot there by DG though- runs the clock down and then chucks up a tough 3 over Siakam that clanks the backboard.
Another great block by Lopez- refs missed the call but this review will overturn.
Wow. Now 2 bricks by Kawhi and Clips till cannot untie this thing lol. Third time's the charm as Indy throws it away again, but nope.
Obi Toppin 28% from deep this season- he has hit 4 of 7 3's.
Sad as the game is there for the Clippers to take, but they keep bricking, including that FT by KL, and allowing open corner 3's. Clips in a world of hurt now down 111-105, 1:27 to go.
Really good play outta the timeout- DG drills the corner bingo, cuts it to 3
Clips induce a miss, and good timeout by Ty Lue right before KL elevated and missed the 3. 3 seconds to go, Clips down 1.
Gotta shoot quickly and can try and tap it in if it misses
Kawhi drills the mini J! Clippers finally lead. There's 0.4 left and Nemhard chucks it in from outta bounds when he was passing the ball in lol. Clippers WIN!
CRAZY finish as Mathurin MISSES both FTs with 0.4 seconds to go up 1, and the refs bail out the Pacers by awarding Huff 2 FTs. He then MISSES both and the Clippers escape with a 1 point win.

Never saw the kind of plays of what happened in the last second! Not even a second but 0.4 seconds when the ball got changed hands 3 times! We could have lost the match at 0.1 second but thankfully they missed both the FTs at that point!
I thought they are tanking but played hard with us…really shaking my head!

It's ridiculous! That was bizarre how time pretty much stood still. So Nemhard's inbounds pass with 0.4 to go hits the backboard and goes into the hoop which is a violation. Okay, so it stays at 0.4 on the Clipper inbounds. Next, Mathurin gets fouled- no way that took NO TIME off the clock. How's that even possible that it was still 0.4 as Mathurin is shooting FTs. I've never seen a foul on an inbounds that took 0.0 second. But apparently there's a loophole where you can foul someone while the ball is inbounded and still in the air, and no time would go off the clock. That's pretty dumb IMO- so you can go and takle someone if the pass is still in the air, and that's not an away from the ball foul.
Plus how was it possible for Siakam to rebound the FT and call timeout and it only took 0.3 second?
But there was no excuse for the Clippers not be able to run 0.4 seconds off the clock on the inbounds. Late game inbounding has been an issue that has cost the Clippers, and this would've been one of the all time debacles that was only averted when Huff missed both FTs.
I feel like my ba*ls were dunked in cold water. I agree totally with above. The three point shot is still an abomination. Their shot selection sucked canal water. It was good to see Kobe play. There was a mention of Elmo's Steak House. When I lived in Indy it was segregated and I couldn't go.
