What are your predictions? Who will step up?

I don't know. A W would mean a lot to me...

Ant is the newest version of dangerous Jimmy Butler/Dwayne Wade and I think MINNY is a sleeper team. (As long as they do not match up against the DEN Nuggets - lol.)

What a sequence by DJJ to start the game! First the superb cut for the monster jam, now the tremendous deflection and save to Garland for the bingo! Props to Dunn too with 2 great assists.

HOLY CRAP! What a start for the Clippers with plays already that could fill a highlight reel. Another steal, Garland to Leonard- slaaaaaaaaaaaaam dunk! Timeout Wolves!

Mathurin nice find to the cutting Leonard for another jam!

Leonard, on fire- drills the bingo, now the drive past Gobert. He now has *16*

A scintillating first Q by the Clips, lead 38-27.

Clipper bench defense once again is suspect- another layup allowed and all of a sudden the lead is down to 3. Good timeout.

Nice move inside by Jackson overpowering Anderson. Now what a save by Dunn to knock the ball off of the Wolves!

Bones Hyland 10 points in 8 minutes. Another young guy we did not stick with and should have.

Clippers lead 74-65 at the half after the starters slowly came back in, beginning with Dunn, to restore order.

Come on! Make them shoot jumpers- not layups.

The Klaw another bingo- that's 34!

What a pass by Garland! Dribbles around between 4 defenders, then dishes to the cutting Dunn for the two-hand jam!

Bones is doing well this game, but not sure if Clippers should have chosen him over the spot now occupied by Kobe Sanders? I'd go with Sanders who has shown better and more versatile defense.

Lol Garland just toyed with Gobert there- shakes him badly, jumps backwards and drills the bingo!

Wolves now a 11-zip run and the Clipper lead is down to 10.

Tremendous D by Isiah Jackson on Randle, causes the turnover!

Wow now the refs mess up the clock so Minny got the ball back, and they get a 3 point possession SMH

Big buckets by Garland- the layup, now the bingo, keyed once again by Jackson's D & rebounding. Clips push it back to 13

Crossover by Miller, slaaaaaaam dunk! Wow! Clips up 109-98 going into the 4th.

Good to see Math hit a 3 as he's been struggling from deep

Leonard just super sharp- drills another bingo, now with *42*! Now Jackson rips down the rebound, gets the reward at the other end! Clips now up 20.

Math another bingo, and now Batum from the corner- Clippers are pouring it on now!

Like how Kawhi has been able to find open teammates despite his hot shooting- that's what MVPs do

Miller again the monster dunk, this time posterizes Randle! Assist KL.

How about Nico, with 2 bingos tonight, has passed Kobe Bryant for #30 in all time 3's made

Isiah Jackson is showing good instincts on D with all these deflections. Miller now the lob, Mathurin the jam for the icing on the cake! What a beatdown.

Clips empty the bench with 5 minues to go up 30+. New Clippers Sean Pedulla and Norchad Omier in, along with Christie, Sanders and Miller who's still out there. LOL Clipper crowd still unhappy at Joe Ingles after all these years- boos him when he touches the ball.

Pedulla the bingo, now assists Omier inside!

Wow. What an emphatic (to be) win.

Rightfully so. Dirt.

Pedulla the little guy doing a nice job- another assist!

Pedulla, another bingo! Good scouting by the front office to pick him up.

Whoa WTH- an altercation here after the game as bad blood spills. Mathurin and it looked like Reid got into some shoving and grabbing as most players on both teams were shaking hands.

Went back and too a closer look- actually it looked like it was Mathurin and McDaniels not too happy with one another

Very impressive for sure- beating up a playoff team by 25. A team that shot 60%. WOW.

Game highlights:

This is the kind of team you want to see. While it's more likely you won't win the championship, it's always satisfying to see them not get beaten by such basic tactics as trying to pressure a team that can no longer run. This team is different in that sense; they keep pressuring them, but they can't keep up because they have skilled and fast players.

I'm sorry about Konan, but I will say that Jackson is doing a good job. He's one of those players who doesn't try to shine or be the star of the team. He's a player who knows he has to give his all to earn his minutes.

Mathurin and Garland brought something to the team that it didn't have. They're irreverent, fun, and have more of a street style. They're the kind of players who bring a lot of energy at all times, and given Kawhi's personality, they're a good addition to the locker room.

As for Jordan Miller, I think it's the best game I've seen him play since becoming a Clipper. I hope he maintains this level, and I think he can still improve.

I think the coaching staff is finally doing the right thing. They know Batum's time is running out, but they're bringing him in at crucial moments, with fresh legs, so he can do what he does best: cash and shot from the corner. With that style few master, shooting without bringing the ball down, it reminds me of myself when I played. With just the momentum and a flick of the wrist, the shot is easy. Perhaps he played center when he was very young, and when a center later has to play small forward, they get used to not bringing the ball down.

Great work by DJJr., Dunn, and the bench players who played the last 5 minutes.

This is the first time I've liked Leonard as a player/leader. First he is healthy but something is different. They seem quite comfortable with each other. A poor man's Billups/Wallace Pistons. It really isn't anybody's team. We have a PG a SG three centers and the rest SF's all basically the same player and can guard 3 positions or 4. Our young legs have kept us from getting killed on the glass. Garland plays with zip. In no way discounting this year but we won't have a collapse next year. Maybe the opposite. I LOVE Lopez but he won't be needed and please dump Beale. Did Harden make his team tough? Did it get tough after he left?
