What are your predictions? Are there any injury/player availability updates?

This one is huge. We won at ID. Let's get our first win at the old crib. Keep in mind the Clips were 0-2 there last year

Weak calls

I am sure there is a perfectly good reason... why isn't Kawhi in the game?

Tyronne Lue never plays youngins... then lets Jordan Miller just do as he pleases for all the minutes in the world???

Hope KL’s ankle is not a long term issue. Disappointed that we lost but let’s move on to next one.

Highlights from the game:

Missed the game! That was a shootout and the Lakers just have more weapons overall, but guys battled their hearts on on a b2b so that's all you can ask. Apparently the calls, especially in the 4th Q favored the Lakers- just too much to overcome.

Hopefully Kawhi's ankle is okay- perhaps need to sit a few games to rest.

KL walked off pretty normally. Seems to me most guys would have played through it. More KL not playing if he is not 100% perfect.

Nope. A bad ankle can result in a bad knee. He should be out. The one good thing is that his legs aren't as used up as others his age. Without injuries, we win. What I like is that unlike Harden teams, these guys trust each other and they are all a piece of the puzzle therefore they play hard. I hope we don't become point guard dominant again, dribble dribble dribble jack up a three. All the guys seem to have a good B Ball IQ. The one thing we need a PG for is the 1-5 pick and roll if they still use it. Lopez is every bit as good as Zu. He can bang but because of his 3 pt shooting he stays out of the paint

Benedict Mathurin has been great for us. I can't wait to see Darius Garland suit up and play. Honestly love this new look team.

I wonder what the best option is for next year. Who do we start at the 2 spot? Mathurin, Beal or DJJ?

Mathurin.

His FG% is ok. He's a very good FT shooter.

That's what I'm thinking. I think he can be had for $20 million per season while Collins could be at $30. That's just enough to keep us under the 1st apron

Mathurin should start, but Beal and DJJ should come in depending on the situation. Each of those guys brings slightly different skill sets. I just wonder if Beal will be on the roster next year though. He doesn't make much sense now that we dealt away Harden and Zubac.

I'm not sure about Beale. I can't find out what surgery he had. If he had a total hip replacement they can dislocate. This could be the end of the line. If they pin it, not so bad but this injury is not supposed to happen Hope not

If the Clippers had a team option on Beal then I could see them letting him go but I think it's a player option that he will most likely pick up at this point of his career. They'll either eat it or figure out how to make use of him off the bench
