I don’t think so as I believe both Mathurin and Isaiah are joining the team in Houston. So assuming they will play against Houston.

It's Kawhi in charge but other guys other than Collins need to step up. Can't be giving up these turnovers- it's a trend that Sanders & Miller need to work on.

Clipper offense is doing a nice job spreading the court. If guys continue to hit 3's, it's going to be big. Lopez out in the perimeter vs Zu inside actually has been a factor as Gobert's interior D is negated somewhat.

While it is nice seeing Kawhi ball out, I don't want to see Kawhi having to do so much going forward. We need Mathurin to join this line up ASAP. These 40+point games for Kawhi are not what you want to see.

Does it remind anyone else of Deandre Jordan's monster dunks when Yanic slams one down?

Yanic has some pretty decent ball handling skills for a young big.

Yeah he reminds me of a young DJ- the vicious slams and the enthusiastic energy. Yanic's FTs are still a work in progress as he should be a much better from the line. I like his willingness to foul too- make them earn it at the line.

Final score Clips tame the Wolves 115-96. Terrific team performance lead by the Klaw. Collins, Dunn, Sanders & Niederhauser were standouts as well. Speaking of the young center:

I'm pretty sure he was a Point Guard as a young kid who eventually outgrew the position.

I also heard that there are multiple accounts of his former Penn St teammates saying he's the best shooter on the team.

Yanic might end up being what DJ was supposed to be but never could become because he had zero shooting touch.

Defense bought us home

He seems to be a solid defender at this young stage of his career. He can draw the foul, and has better control than DJ did at that stage in his career. I remember sometimes DJ would miss an easy dunk because he would slam it down and it would hit the rim. I know people are going to kill me for this, but I think this kid can potentially become as good a Zubac was for us.

David, he's actually not too bad. He hit something like 5 out of 7. Comparing him to DJ in his rookie season, Yanic seems to be a better overall player. Hopefully, he can become a good center. I doubt he'll ever be a 20PPG center, but I can see him becoming like a 12 PPG center with decent rim protection. I'm very happy with what I've seen from this kid. Thank god for the Steppien rule.

Yeah he's hitting 68% FTs definitely much better than DJ, and I wouldn't be surprised that he goes 75%+ eventually and even develop a 3 point shot. Really nice find by the front office late in the first round. Look forward to Yanic continuing to get better, keep bringing that energy and physicality.

Our defense today was awesome. Kawhi had like 3 steals in the first few minutes of the game.

The rotations looked good. We handled Ant really well.

And for Yanic, not for a while... but sometime after his Rookie deal is up.... he'll be a stretch big

I can only wish that he can get in the gym and live there. If he can develop Zu's fundamentals. And if he can develop his body physically... he has a good chance.

His touch is a lot better. And he actually like to yam! So, things look interesting

He doesn't look that underdeveloped, physically speaking. Most NBA players come in rail thin, but Yanic actually seems to have a little more muscle on him. If he can develop a floater we will have a gem on our hands. I like this new squad, and I am crossing my fingers that we can get Indy's 5-9 pick.

I wasn’t able to catch the game but I do like the idea of giving the young guys more burn.

It was a good one. Kawhi went beast mode, but the bigger story, in my opinion, was Yanic having a double-digit scoring game.

Hyperbole maybe but we might have gotten the better of the deal. The didn't switch on pick and rolls and rarely double teamed. Dunn played Edwards straight up. No switching, no mismatches. The offense was a 1-5 pick and roll and Zu kicked it out or shot. or Harden shoots a three. They played something other that pick and roll. Motion? Lots of off ball movement. We didn't need a PG because there wasn't a lot of dribbling. Neider- and Brook can do some perimeter defense that Zu couldn't. It looks like the kid has handles. A lot of zone
