Clippers vs. Cavaliers Game Day 2026-02-04

Clippers Forum » Clippers Game Day

How will the Clippers do in the game against the Cavaliers? What are the Clippers keys to get a victory? Who on the Cavaliers should LA be wary of? Will the game be bombs away by both teams or first to 100 gets the W? Who will step up?

Kind of odd not hearing the announcement of "Numero Uno" during the pregame introductions. Clippers will be starting Sanders and Brook Lopez with big Zu not playing.

7-0 Cavs as the Clippers can't hit, until that banker inside by Collins

JC has all 7 points for the Clips after that putback slam

Can be allowing that- Allen just one or two dribbles past half court and slams it home without anybody even trying to stop him

Lopez should be subbed out.

Bogdanovic gets the early call, but the low-energy Clippers give up another open 3 and it's 25-12 Cavs.

There is no offense. I'm so tired of T Lue

Even after stops Clips cannot get the rebound, allowing easy putbacks

No heart. No effort.

That rook needs to hit the weight room

DJJ back! Welcomed sight!

Bogan Bogdanovic just horrendous

Welcome back DJJ as he comes in with a minute left. But Cavs hit another 3, and it's 34-16, now another turnover by the Clips, another putback slam by Cleveland. Ouch.

Tough behind the plane J by Bogie, but Clips trail 36-18 after 1.

I'm gonna give them one more quarter before I turn this off

The Klaw trying to bring the Clippers back- bingo cuts it to 10

Yeah not much life- guys not showing as much motivation from what we've seen during the hot streak.

Oh man- that time Clips force the miss and get the rebound, but Shroeder the blindside takeaway

Timely bingos by Dunn & Lopez cuts it to 10 again

There's some life! DJJ works inside to get the offensive rebound, gets it back by Lopez for the and 1! It's down to 7.

Clipper intensity on D is picking up big time

But the offense continues to struggle, now 2 of 14 from deep, 10 turnovers.

Hey there's a good pass by Dunn- to Collins for the slam

DJJ doesn't quite have his instincts back yet as the Cavs just blaze past him like he's a tree. Now Dunn missed layup, then another turnover, and of course Mitchell drills a tough 3 over DJJ at the buzzer. Clips down 20 at the half.

Clips getting pulverized now, down 24 as they can't overcome missing a 25/ppg scorer/point guard and a double double machine.

There you go…will see lot of days like this if we think of rebuild!

Clippers just have terrible handles- unable to deal with any decent ball pressure. If the ball isn't poked away from the dribbler already, then the outlet pass is intercepted.

This is some ugly basketball right now by the Clips- worst of the season.

I said so…it will be a rudderless team without a leader. KL is no leader.

Don’t know how much Garland can move the needle but this season is down the drain.

Damn Harden for bailing out!

Final score 124-91 Cavs maul the Clips. Not a good look for sure for the young guys laying an egg like that, but they were up against a very good team. And they were probably a bit deflated too with Harden leaving.

Hope the guys get their heads together quickly, or it'll be another ugly blowout even against a team like Sacto.

Yeah someone needs to be stepping up and say "hey guys let's get it together, let's at least compete." And Kawhi isn't like that. Ty Lue seemed pretty resigned to the circumstances himself.

It was rudderless but also only one scorer. Why did the idiots trade Norm? None can create their own shot. Little Kobe will get some experience as well as the center with the long name. KL is a generational role player not a "great' who makes his team better (a bit of hyperbole) They quadruple teamed Kl. With no ball handler they just jacked up threes. It's structural. A laxative isn't good when you take it but you feel so good after. This was bound to happen sooner or later. 3-4 seasons are down the drain. Now that I'm over my abandonment issues if we get a ball handler I can live with it , maybe a good thing it as long as they don't quit. I like this bunch better than 213.

Pathetic. As expected.

Not upset that we lost, upset at the way we lost.
