Who are you most excited to watch in the Summer League matchup against the Houston Rockets? Which rookie or young player will make the biggest impact? Which prospect should LA focus on? Will the game be a showcase of talent or a tryout session? Which two-way contract candidates will shine?

I'm focused on the big man/1st round pick. Silly me, I still don't have his name memorized and I'm supposed to be the draft guru....

I had a good feeling because minus YKN and John Poulakidas, these guys have played a TON of G League ball.

If we had a 2nd C and PBJ came back... nobody can touch us. You can really these guys have been playing together.

Outside of Reed Sheppard... Kobe, JMill, Cam, and Flowers were the best players on the floor. Shoulda been a blowout.

Yanic looks like a beast. He looks like an unseasoned Rookie with his block timing, but I think he's going to be really good.

Kobe Sanders looks like a young vet already. I still question the burst, but he's a helluva basketball player. He's gonna make this team.

Why don't we have a 2nd Center? Every time Yanic and Kobe went out, it looked like the Nuggets series. Not cool.

Even when PBJ comes back, he's more of a wing than a post defender and rebounder. This should be an opportunity to try someone.

We're having what I think is a great off-season so far, and I hope the depth chart looks like this soon.

Kobe Sanders/Xavier Simpson

Cam Christie/Trentyn Flowers

Jordan Miller/John Poulakidis (Let's see Jahmyl Telfort more)

Kobe Brown/Patrick Baldwin Jr.

Yanic Konan Neiderhauser/.... aaaaaaaaand, SOMEBODY ?????

Highlights from the game:

Our first round pick looked fairly bad. 1 point. Is a big body and blocked some shots.

Kobe Sanders looked ok as a big pg.

Jordan Miller, Kobe Brown, Cam Christie, and J Flowers were decent.

Refs wanted to get out of there as they did not call much.

Sheppard of Houston looked like a shooter. Best player out there.

Kobe looked good and should see some minutes on the 2nd unit this season. Miller had a better 2nd half but the thing is he's not going to have the ball in his hands like that on the main team, at least not with us. On the main team he'll be stuck in a corner waiting for Harden, Kawhi, etc. to pass it out to him so he can shoot a three. He'll get a few one on one open court attempts here and there, but nothing like he gets in SL or in the G League where he racks up his points for a nice statline. He needs to have two separate games to survive in the league. One where he's the man like in SL and the G League and the other type of game where he's the role player that can knock down open shots. We got three open roster spots still so you never know, he could get resigned again especially if we don't get Beal.

Christie and Flowers looked good and have a future with the team. I could see them getting a few spot minutes on the 2nd unit from time to time, especially if an injury happens or Bogdan, DJJ, and Dunn are in shooting slumps and some losses occur. Yanic is a tank and showed some flashes of what he could be. Lost on offense at times but his rebounding and shot blocking are there. He has a good future imo. Kobe Sanders is good but not athletic and on the slower side of things. That lefty from Yale needs to sit. Game 2 tomorrow.
