Clippers vs. Denver Nuggets Game 3 Game Day 2025-04-24 (P. 2)

Clippers Forum » Clippers Game Day

Wow, there’s another element to Norm’s game tonight. Post up, pivot and hit a mid range shot

4 missed FTs & now an offensive foul on Zu. Clips need to refocus a bit here.

Kawhi with a quick euro step and 1!!

KL, always focused- driving layup and 1!

Lol Ty Lue really disgusted with the refs there nearly not granting the timeout to review this call. That call should be overturned as it was out on Braun after another deflection by Batum.

Bogie still can't get untracked

Kawhi drills the FT with MVP chants in the background. The first Clipper FT make out of 5 attempts this Q.

Kawhi a bit off tonight, but his hustle is still there

Denver raises the white flag. What a win, what a playoff debut at Intuit Dome!

Hey Bogie with the floater inside- his first points of the series. Hope that will get him going. Timeout Clips to clear the bench.

Interesting that Coffey is not even in this garbage time lineup. Amir perhaps not quite 100% yet.

Yep! Absolutely terrific atmosphere

Excellent distribution of scoring. 4 Clipper starters in double figures, and excellent bench production via Batum & DJJ. Especially Nico- so invaluable to the team years ago, and now he comes back and doesn't miss a beat in the playoffs.

Harden was huge when the Clips went down by 7 or so in the first Q. His makes were a huge counterpunch and the Nuggets couldn't really rally after that. The Beard also with just 1 turnover to go with 9 assists. Also good to see Norman hit some shots like we all know he's capable.

Props to the Clipper fans for being loud & proud, including the Wall, which perhaps even disrupted the Clipper FT shooting in the 4th lol.

lol about your quote on PG. he stunted the growth of other players on the team. A very good win against a good team!

100%. PG who? Good to see Kawhi make the right plays for sure.

Van Gundy is doing a great job so far! I am impressed with Dunn and DJJ as well this season. This team is so balanced and it helped with the exit of PG…good riddance!

Best night of this young Intuit Dome era!

Absolutely- JVG has been a great addition. I hope the Clips can keep him this offseason.

As for PG- before the season started, Powell said about PG leaving as "addition by subtraction". Norm knew what's up lol. And yeah Dunn & DJJ are a fierce 1-2 punch the Clippers put out there to slow down the main perimeter threats. The Clippers finally have an answer for their long time nemesis Jamal Murray.

Great win! If Norm is at least 70% back then its going to be an uphill battle for Denver. A complete effort from everybody. I was the game and I must say, having our own arena it felt like a compete and total Clipper Experience from top to bottom. Playoff games at Staples always had an unhealthy invasion of other fans, prominent Laker statues everywhere outside, inside we're covering up Laker banners. Then there's Laker fans somehow in the building even though we're not playing them. How about that upper deck that's a mile high, etc. But a playoff game at Intuit tonight and into the future I can honestly say was/is pure Clipper-Ville or you could say Clipperdom. A few Denver jerseys here and there, but it was all US and about US in there and nobody else. Not only could you see it, you felt it. F*cking awesome!

Was at Intuit Dome. What a game. That was probably the most enjoyable playoff game I've ever been to, mainly because it was in our new home. But the atmopshere and energy was awesome. We have finally have a real home court advantage. Crazy part is, Kawhi didn't play that great of a game, at least in my opinion, and they still blew them out. It was great to see Norman bust out and make huge shots. Saturday will be huge. The Nuggets will punch back. We just have to counter it.

Awesome. Glad you could make the game in person. I was mentioning how Powell was showing his whole repertoire last night. Let's hope he keeps it up

Great post! Glad you had a great time. The mile high upper deck is what always got me about Crypto. I literally sat in the top level of the upper deck at ID and it was comparable to a seat in the 5th row of the upper deck downtown

The true test will be if we play the L word or the Dubs at some point in this post season. I'm confident that we can keep them limited but you know they'll figure out one way or the other to show up in numbers. It's just a matter of how much

I was also at the game - it was pretty great. It got rather loud! Few DEN fans sprinkled around for sure... and also a handful of Lakers (and one Trae Young) jersey

But it was a nice HOME CROWD.

Food was still lacking, I really thought Ballmers LLC in charge of F&B would be getting feedback that the food is sub-par... maybe kick it into high gear for playoffs, but meh.

And the drive back was long. (Getting out of the lot - West Garage - was a 30min ordeal!)

I was two points off for the Clippers score!

ap news:

"There were reminders of the Clippers' old Lob City era in their new building. Former Clipper Chris Paul was in the stands along with Patrick Beverley wearing a Zubac jersey, while DeAndre Jordan played five minutes for the Nuggets."

The food options will definitely get better. More restaurants and hotels are coming to the area as well. You parked in the garage? There's also a lot of $20-40 dollar street parking now on Prairie and Century. You get in and out a lot quicker once the game is over with. That was one of the reasons the attendance wasn't all that great at the start of the year because it was just the $70 dollar parking garage and nothing else.

Yeah if we were to play the Lakers some Laker fans will no doubt be in the building, but we'll also want to claim and defend our territory since Intuit is literally ours. Playing at Staples was like renting out a conference room at the Sheraton. How much are you going to fight for a place that's not yours? Plus Staples was way easier to get to being located downtown. You have to really want to see your visiting team and make an effort to come down to Intuit Dome. In a year or two, if we keep winning and really make it hostile for the opponents(in a good way), bandwagon fans of other teams might think twice about stepping into our building.

Good points. The conference room analogy is a good one

My go to move for getting to ID is parking at one of the lots at the Hawthorne/Lennox station then taking the shuttle in from there. I did that for a Rams game in 2021 with no problem but when I tried it for a Charger game the very next season, you had to have a yearly permit to park in one of those lots. Fans got hip to that option really quick so I'm hoping the same doesn't happen with the Clips. Numbers are on our side because you're talking about an 18,000 seat arena compared to a 60,000 plus seat stadium but if they do get hip to the Hawthorne/Lennox spot and we start having to buy weekday permits then I'll just do what I do for Charger games now and that's park at the Crenshaw/105 station then take the train down one stop to Hawthorne/Lennox then take the shuttle

Not surprised at all. If PG were here and not being a ball hog we could win a ring. I still say that all these guys demanding max is childish B S. If they hadn't been so ego driven it could have been worked out. he really showed what a baby he is.

Dunn is a find. I miss T Mann but this is what we expected him to be. They are like a machine where every part knows it's role 9horribly mixed metaphor)

A moment of silence for the guy once know as Clipper Darrell. May life treat you well friend
