How will the Clippers do in the game coming up versus the New Orleans Pelicans? What are the Clippers keys to get a W? Which opposing player(s) should LA focus on? Will the game be first to 115 points or first to 100 gets the W? Who will step up?

and... will Kawhi play?
Pelicans doubling Harden early to disrupt the Clipper offense, and it's working
They also doubled Zu down low, but the Clippers can't make them pay as the 3's are missed
Gotta watch the turnovers...
Dunn not the best start as he gets two layups snuffed away. Missed an open 3 and airballed an indecisive runner earlier
Kobe Brown in as the backup center
Bogie drills a tough baseline J to end the quarter- Clips down 28-21.
Coffey good job- nice push and a sweet pass to DJJ for the slam
Clippers in trouble as the Pelicans are drilling 3's and they're not. Turnovers are hurting the cause as well.
Clippers losing the battles for those 50/50 balls
Need more of that- Harden pnr with Zu fro the slam
That's off of Murphy for sure, but they say Zu tripped him. That's after the ball was already loose though so not sure about that ruling after the review.
Harden drills the bingo to end the half, cuts the Pel's 21 point lead to 10. Clips with a fighting chance now. Defense and not turning the ball over are keys to complete the comeback.
That was nice- Zu passes out of the double to the cutting Klaw for the slam!
Now Zu to Dunn!
Clippers challenge that Williamson drive vs Zu where Zu gets hit on the chin. Successful!
Kawhi another 3, and now Harden with his patented step-back bingo. TIED at 75!
Zu with a Jokic-like quarter. What a job.
Bogie, and now Harden the 3- Clips lead 83-82.
Missi climbs DJJ's back, no call
Are you kidding me? No goaltend called on Harden's layup, and now the Pels are up 9 all of a sudden after burying a trio of 3's in a row.
Bogie able to get a big and-1 there, but the Clips allow Zion to drive all the way to the hoop for a dunk smh. Clips down 98-90 after 3.
Big 3 by Coffey to cut it to 12, but the Clippers unable to stop Williamson who runs all the way in for the slam. Ugh.
Tough too when Pelicans are just drilling all their 3's here. 16 out of 28 overall for a team that supposedly not shooting that well from deep.
Dunn a surprising 3, now the steal, but they say no goaltend even though the ball was clearly off of the backboard first
Dunn tremendous hustle!
Lol Harden is so go with that. Sees the double coming, but goes around it as the second man is not there it. Layup cuts it to 4.
Ouch. Williamson another layup, and now gets the offensive rebound, dishes to McCollum for the 3. Clips in big trouble now down 9 with 3:41 to go.
The Klaw just rips the ball from Zion, now DJJ can cut it to 3 at the line.
Deflection by Dunn, Leonard and 1! But KL misses the FT, and that's 3 missed FT's in the last minute for the Clips. Otherwise it'd be a tied game.
Game over as the Clippers turn the ball over, and now Harden not able to hit the open 3. Tough loss, but credit the Pelicans for hitting so many 3's and playing hard. They out-rebounded the Clips but a massive margin.
The Clipper starters did a good job, but the bench unit once again let the team down. Overall the Clippers had subpar 3 point shooting, and of course not consistently boxing out allow the Pelicans so many more second chances.
Video highlights:
sorry - no excuse losing to the lowly Pels.
We have not been able to beat them much lately (and they have been bad).
I saw bits and pieces of the game.. and I want to say something quite critical...
We lost because we shot at lower FG% than our oppponents - remedy?
-extra time pregame practicing
-taking warm up seriously
-having our coach prep the team during practice
-have our offensive coaching staff run "better" (or any) offense
I saw plenty of early pass+cuts, but towards the end we looked a lot more different.
