PG13 at Sofi Stadium Sunday

I went to the Charger Raider game Sunday and had a good time but I'm disappointed to report that when they showed various celebrities on the video board, our very own Paul George was roundly booed when he came on the screen. Doesn't surprise me as this is what happened to CP3 and Blake when they would show up to Dodger Stadium but it's disappointing nonetheless.

I realize that this isn't a knock on our fan base being outnumbered and has everything to do with Raider Laker crossover fans (Bolt fans seem to be split on how they view the Clips).

I guess in some ways it's a good thing. In the old days, Laker fans would just thumb their nose at the Clips. Nowadays, they fear them to the point where they have to boo them everywhere. They know who the stronger franchise is from here on out. Linda Rambis and Rob Pelinka don't call the shots here

Didn’t they played the Raiders? Raiders fans ares synonymous with Lakers fans

Bron wouldn't get booed but I doubt he'd get mass applause. Anthony Davis would probably get booed. The only players that would get cheers would be Kobe Bryant(RIP) and maybe a few Dodger players. I wouldn't put too much into this

I've come around to actually think it's a good thing at the end of the day. In the old days, a Clipper on a video board wouldn't get any reaction. The fact that they're getting booed shows that the Laker fans feel the Clips' presence now. From the boos at Dodger Stadium to the relief they felt when Denver beat the Clips in the bubble, they know that the rivalry is real.

I could be wrong but I'm thinking Lebron and AD get applause for the simple reason that the people booing PG13 are Laker fans.

Adrian Gonzales did get cheered as a former Dodger. His daughter had on a Charger hat which made sense given that Gonzales is an SD native

I totally agree with you on the last para of your message. They are feeling insecure and rightfully so when we dominated them in the last decade. If they can't cheer them, I would take the boos as a compliment as who we are. But again, unless we win few championships, we can't be happy.
