Movie: Doctor Sleep.

It's apparently the sequel to "The Shining". Stephen King apparently didn't like Kubrick's film, because he didn't like the way the wife was portrayed meekly; because the ending was changed; and because he didn't think there was enough of a reason to care for Jack Torrance. www.cinemablend.com/news/2483769/stephen-kings-hatred-for-stanley-kubricks-the-shining-explained If that's the way he feels, I kind of agree with his complaints, even though I do think the movie was good cinematography. I couldn't find the random thread, so I thought this movie topic is a good place to share the sad news - So sad to hear that Sir Sean Connery (the best portrayal of James Bond), has died at the age of 90. RIP legend!

Agree. Sports Talk radio is talking about some of the best Bond movies, as well as his other good movies.

I liked Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. I liked Ford and Connery teaming up together.

I didn't like the 2nd movie, Temple Of Doom.

I thought it was a bit dark and disgusting.

To me, Indiana Jones movies are supposed to be fun. That tone was in the other movies.

There are dark TV shows and movies that I like, but that's when I expect that kind of a tone.

I'm surprised Ford and Connery didn't appear in any other movies together. Or if they did, I don't know it.
