Patrick had a great interview with one of the reporters from ESPN. He voiced his commitment to the club and says that he really wants to be here long term. I absolutely love this guys and I hope he can retire a Clipper.

I loved how he called Milos "My Brother"
Yes, I'll say this right now. I love Bled, honestly my favorite player since he came in; but I'd rather stick with Beverly if it came to that.
Patrick has been great so far- his defensive intensity is infectious. He is definitely a player to keep for the long term.
Beverley is the type of player you love on your team, but hate if he is an opponent. In order to maximize the guard position, ideally, we would need a star-ish type player to pair next to him at the guard position if we were looking to him as a long-term piece. Going to be interesting to see what kind of money he's looking for as a free agent though, that will certainly be a factor.
Yes. I really hope we can sign him to a cheap long term deal. He Is on one of the best contracts in the league right now.
tense is correct, depends on what we mean by cheap. The MLE now is $8-9 million, so that's the minimum we're looking at, it's technically still "cheap" to an extent compared to the salary cap, but that's what we'll be looking at, in that range and higher.
He'll make at least somewhere in between what is Austin or Jamal was making and it will still be good deal.
How many years left on Beverley's contract?
