Blake finished last season shooting nearly 40% from deep post all star break on 3 attempts per game roughly. I've said he would be a darkhorse MVP candidate and this may just push him over the top if he can stay healthy. This preseason in just 4 games, and an average of 23 minutes per game, he's hit 8 out of 17 attempts (48%). That's an average of 4+ attempts per game from 3. What's more surprising is his jumper just looks so effortless from deep now. He's not struggling due to distance and the hitch seems better. Anyone else notice this? Blake Griffin with a legit 3 point shot. I realize sample isn't huge and it's just preseason, but I've been very surprised TBH by this development.
