Yeah it'll be interesting to see how Blake develops as a leader now that CP is gone. Because with such a full on alpha like Chris it was probably pretty hard for Blake to take on that role.

Yup, this is a great sign, there's a vacuum to be filled and it is good for Blake to take on that role as the best player. I have no problem with role players being leaders (eg: Derek Fisher, etc), but it is always good for your stars to take on leadership roles, both by word and example.

He had a near MVP season a few years ago when Chris went down, so Blake is capable of being the #1 guy. AS always, we just have to hope injuries don't ruin the team's chances.
