Out of the ashes flies the phoenix..

maybe West will fix our player problems..

Pray we can keep Chris Paul and Blake...and then West can get to work and trade them away and make us contenders!!

If we had been smart enough to move Paul and Griffin last year, we could have been Boston with lots of draft picks (likely Boston's). Clearly, if CP3 and Blake leave now, we are far worse off than Boston was. Perhaps I should have said Philadelphia of four years ago. They got their high draft picks the old fashioned way; by sucking over a long period.
It would have been premature though. Boston traded their guys when they were 36 and like 38 years old. Their guys were all in their 30's when they won their first one. The Clippers last season were looking to an off-season of trying to get Durant. This past season Paul and Blake were expiring contacts that a lot of teams knew they wouldn't be able to resign and weren't going to give top value for.

Of course this does get back to loyalty double standard. We many times expect loyalty from the players and for them to do things like taking paycuts for the good of the team, but if we can trade them to benefit the team in any way, we would support it in a heartbeat. Both expecting loyalty and not are fine as long as we keep it consistent both ways.

What about the King coming to L.A.???

The thing for me is that I almost don't care what happens. I've never said that before. I could watch every minute of every game in a 16 win season. I am just so bored with this predictable team and there are players on this squad that I really hate watching; that I would gladly give away for nothing. And it just seems so completely clear that Doc is not the GM who will be able to solve any of this.
