The schedules will be released in 2-3 weeks. Who would you like the Clippers to play
first? It's mostly the Warriors or Lakers as it is every year. I want the Lakers just
to get a early start on killing them. Lol.
Also starting in January the NBA will air Saturday games on ABC at
530pmPT.

I wouldn't mind seeing CP3 destroy the Lakers and their over-hyped rookie

Yes, Lakers first please. I want to be ahead of them in the standings from day one. You
know, make sure the world feels right.

Warriors. Let's take down the Champs first. Weaker teams later.

Dallas, Warriors, or the Rockets would be great for me.

I wouldn't mind OKC for the opener. New coach, Durant unsure of his foot... There's a
decent chance playoff seeding will come down to a tiebreaker, so let's stick the
knife in early.

I would be shocked if the Clippers didn't open up at Dallas.
I'm just guessing but the schedule could start off looking like this:
Oct 27 Golden State on TNT
Oct 28 @ LA Lakers
Oct 30 Dallas on ESPN

I would love to have something less demanding early on just so the team can gel better
before the really important games. Perfect scenario would be:
Game 1 - v Kings
Game 2 - v Lakers
Game 3 - @ Denver
Game 4 - @ Suns
Game 5 - v Warriors (basically at least a week into the season facing them for the first
time, so our bench is already well aware what is expected of them)

I want to play Golden State on oppening night in Oakland when they are getting their
rings. That's the type of motivation we need to start off the season
right.

Nice. Hopefully the Lakers overachieve and that's a preview of a 1st round match up. I was
getting sick of GSW Xmas match up every year.

The only reason we're playing the Fakers is because no one wants to watch the Flakers and
the Knickerbobbers play each other. They won't get enough
ratings.
Our season opener will be against Dallas a front office official told me today that
it was indeed be Dallas.
I'm exited for that game!
I honestly hope the season opener will be against the 76ers (mind you, I haven't
looked at basketball news since the disappointing end to last season but I did hear
about DJ going over to the Mavs recently; never knew it was against the law to change
your mind on what team you wish to play for. I don't know what the big deal is and I sure
as heck don't want to do any type of research on the "trade drama"). As
much as I enjoy watching Dirk play, more focus will be on the "DJ copout"
than what is happening on the court at the given time. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised
to see all Mavs vs Clipper games on national TV where I will be stuck with the
horrendous commentary (if you call it commentary).
But hey, at least I get to know which games to skip this year (since someone could not
decide on where he wanted to go last year).
What the League should do is release an officiating schedule for this season, just
because...
I'm just keeping an eye on Clippers @ Denver. I've been to every matchup since moving to
Denver, but this time, I'm gonna dig deep in my pocket and get courtside
tickets.

Can't believe you haven't kept up with the drama or the NBA it's been an exiting off season.
I like the match up one and two I feel it's exiting to start the season with some
intensity and drama.

How is that for guessing a schedule - got three of the first five opponents right. Love
the early Kings clashes but would have loved that GSW game to be in LA. I would say we
have every chance to not only get the new guys ready for the long season but also start
6:1!

As long as I can remember, this is the most balanced Clippers schedule I could
recall...no road trip longer than five games (in total, the Clippers have four
5-game roadies in the season), and plus the shortest Grammy trip ever. Looking more
forward to the season starting!
This is the first time in a extremely long time we don't play the lakers at the top of the
schedule. I'm shocked

Well Kobe isn't playing.

Well I guess the Mavs first up would be just too contrived, so we have to wait until the
second game for the Grudge/DJ/Cuban etc showdown........
Interesting, 2 games against the Kings out of the first 3!! 2 very early clashes with the Mavs and
Dubs and a really tough stretch early on. However, just look at the schedule after
the second Dubs game. For a month we really don't play anybody too tough. So I'm
thinking if we do ok the first 10 games we could really make a push mid Nov-mid
Dec.
Some hack on CBS was saying there's less B2B games this season. I suspect some other teams
may have got more of a generous helping hand on this (though I've not looked at each
teams schedule) though I'll concede the B2B games do drop off as we get into the new
year.
Why do we have to wait so long to torch the Lakers? It's just not right

The Uniforms, Logos and Colors are of no interest to me. We are not in the fashion
industry and the guys are not on the runway. I perceive the message as: New Uniforms,
New team, New season, First trophy. As long Uniforms fit and are within NBA code who
cares? My focus is on winning.
Beware. Many of those games with the easy teams led to loses for the Clippers because they
took their foot off the pedal. With the new teammates and veteran Pierce, I believe
they will stay focused on winning until the last seconds are 0.0
