Dahntay Jones Bumps Draymond Green After Game, Gets Dissed

Clippers Forum » Clippers News & General Discussions

Dahntay with the non-accidental bump on Draymond during the post-game interview. Green played a real nice game today, but he was out there hootin' and hollerin' so much that I'm pretty sure it annoyed some of the guys..

Looks like Green is non-too happy about this incident:

Quote:
"I think he wanted a reaction from me, but he don't play," Green said.

He explained his lack of reaction, saying, "Me getting suspended and him getting suspended, it's different."

He added, "If (Dahntay Jones) gets suspended they may not even notice."

Green wasn't finished with Jones. In explaining why the shooting guard's behavior, he said: "He got some camera time, which he needed because there wasn't much celebration from their bench today, so you didn't see him much. He got the camera time he was looking for."

Jones denies that the bump was intentional, telling reporters, "That's not how you bump somebody if you purposely want to bump them."

What a puss Draymon Green is- lighten up tough guy. What the NBA should investigate is when he tried to put his tongue and breath all over Blake's face- that was just disgusting.

Win the game. Don't act salty afterwards when you get your butt whooped. Show some class, clippers. And oh yeah, win the damn game

Release him, we can use that spot.

Green can be gotten to way too easily. If he reacts this much to an incidental postgame elbow bump, he's gonna get himself tossed during a playoff game when it really heats up

This is the same "Green" who stuck out his tongue at Blake Griffin Venom-style during a win. This is the same Green who took to Twitter after a loss who whined about "we were too soft." Clippers should let it slide; we were not at full strength. Pick up the "W" before April Fool's and this will be rectified. It was said Clippers should show some class; the opposing team should as well. Every player on either team (regardless of skill) is a professional athlete.

Dishing it out and not being able to take it in stride is the number 1 thing I hate about people like Green.

I agree Green's a punk,he's been a troublemaker his whole career never could stand him!

Too bad OKC is gonna murk GSW in the first round because I really want to see a rematch.

At least Dahntay is putting himself to good use despite Doc not playing him.

Putting Green on the back foot with these bush-league moves ahead of the playoffs is a lot better than when he gets to play instigator against our best players -- like choking Blake to get him ejected.

Keep whining, arsehole. Not so much fun when you're the target, is it?

Next game, I want to see Ekpe Udoh lick his f*cking ear!

Thank u, Jones.

I expect Green to act like an even more immature punk on the fourth game.

If Westbrook and Durant are healthy I see and upset and having OKC beating the Warriors they don't have anyone who can pair to this two and stop them. You saw that when they go beat in OKC. So I'm looking fwd to that match up if they end up playing them. I will probably be loving it more than a Clippers first round win. Very Happy

He's always acted like a punk. Even when Clippers beat them on their home court he stated that they were not even trying to win and that the Clippers were trying to hard. That guy needs someone to drop him on his wallet and maybe then he will get a reality check.

Ok guys its official. Golden State is the team that I Hate the most now. Punk as D. Green man geez what a punk. Yea you do play buddy but don't forget you also come off the bench. Even when this guy dint play good I never liked him. Cause he had that arrogant attitude. And the coach dint even play him much. And yes thank you Dantae Jones for showing him that even after we just lost. Were still a team with Heart and toughness. I can't wait for the next game and our Clippers being at full force. And Golden State yea dont forget theres still alot of basketball to be palyed. I'm expecting us to shoot their punk asses right out the building...I love my Clippers....Go Clips!!

A lessons for Dahntay,do this crap and you will get a fined no matter what because you are now a Clipper,.....so next time put the guy on his arse on live TV because you are going to have to pay anyway. That would be hilarious.

I hope his teammates pay for his fine.

I hope karma comes back towards Green's childish antics.

i wouldn't be shocked if doc told jones to get under his skin a little bit. Green's an emotional player, and maybe that emotion will effect him negatively next game.

I like the little cheap shot -- mental warfare has begun!

the refs and the league is flexing their power way too much ticky tack techs and behavior control. it is taking away from the game.

There's a lesson for Doc... let the guy play a few more minutes. A good, hard flagrant 2 would have only cost him half as much, and would likely help the team bond.

Some jobs, you bring doughnuts to ingratiate yourself with your co-workers... but if you smack Draymond Green upside the head, you deserve the game ball in my book.

Boy would I love to see that! He'd definitely be the MVP of that game without a doubt.

Jones just bought himself some PT against the warriors

A bump after the game is over is worthy of a 10k fine but a player licking other players shoulder during a game is not even worthy of a T. Where are we? Ah yes clipperland. The place where checking into the game makes you eligible to get a free T and on a good day even a fine. Nothing wrong with that.

Basketball just makes no sense to me anymore. The game does,it is absolutely everything else that surrounds it makes no sense anymore. Who's more macho, who gets dissed, who slept with someones mama which deserves a "T", who (in their mind) is the greatest player that ever live (of course the answer is whoever is being interviewed knows they are the best ever), who needs a TV show to tell you what team they are going to, who needs a cable special on Showtime to pump up their egos even more.......I long for the old days when teams just played basketball and let the scoreboard tell you who was best.

Imo, they are both childish and idiots.

I love how Green fully admits that being an irritant pain in the arse was his "role on the team" as recently as "a couple of years ago", yet he whines that somebody would pull the same cheap sh*t on him and urges the league to investigate.

Amazing how a little success (actually, VERY little) can go to some people's heads.

I had not seen the video of the "incident". That is one expensive "bump". Green exaggerated much? This coming from a guy that almost hit BG with an elbow on his throat?? That uses bush league tactics like sticking his tongue out. Yikes.

I love how Doc Rivers is getting involved in this now. Him and Green are now going back and forth in the media.

Can the NBA review this and fine Green for flopping during an interview?

I really hope they keep an eye on the next game. With BG back the Cryrriors would want to take it to Clips and try to play physical. I just hope that BG is allowed to play physical as well.
