Magic-Clippers Preview By JORDAN GARRETSON Posted Dec 03 2014 2:45AM The Los Angeles Clippers are looking more like the elite offensive club from 2013-14 after a pedestrian start to the season. They'll look to continue their recent roll Wednesday night when they host the Orlando Magic, against whom they begun their offensive breakthrough two weeks ago. The Clippers (12-5) led the NBA with 107.9 points per game last season and ranked third in shooting at 47.4 percent while posting the third-best winning percentage with a 57-25 record. They looked mediocre during a 5-4 start this season, however, averaging 101.6 points while shooting 45.6 percent to....

So last night the Magic lose in the closing second vs Golden State. Will this knock their confidence or make them more determined against us tonight?

I hope JJ has a good game against his former team, it's about time!

ORL is demoralized after blowing it last night. Another 3rd quarter laugher in store for the Clips.

To me it means they were so close they will be angry tonight and facing...at this point......a weaker team then last night may be pains in the rump to beat.

What ever happened to CDR?!

He was injured last I heard. And he was playing so badly that we really don't miss him.

Replaced by ipods and memory sticks.

Partially torn Achilles

The Clippers need to come focused and with a lot of energy. Orlando will be hungry after last nights last second lost. I expect BG to step up and have an al around game.

Grizzlies got curb stomped by Houston. That make anyone feel better? Razz

EDIT: Yes, Houston beat them only by 10, but the gap was as much as 25 points.

Yay, about time the Grizzlies got beaten, lol.

yeah, I was looking at the NBA schedule and saw the teams that are ahead of us will be playing against each other soon (i.e. Houston, Grizz, Dubs, Mavs, Spurs). If we keep winning, things will eventually level off some. Restore order, I say.

Just need the damn dubs to lose.

Redick has been using the reverse lay-up a lot lately! Never knew he was that good at them

That's the first time I've ever seen DJ do a layup

Wow, what a great start by the Clips at 22-7 already.

Reddick and Griffin have 20/22 points

DJ with the block!

Dammit if only dallas lost tonight too

Ugh, yeah. I've been hoping they would come back down to earth soon. Once upon a time, Clippers too had the best record in the NBA going on a 17-game winning streak, but then faced some challenges. Perhaps the Dubs will have the same plight.

Clippers 10 rebounds, Magic 2. WOW. Not what I'd have expected earlier in the season that's for sure.

Can't believe Ben Gordon's game dropped off and he's only 31. Same goes with Eric Gordon. Guess don't sign a Gordon to a big contract is the lesson

I was hoping for a Hedo dunk

Lol, at least EJ has the injury excuse, what about Ben?

The second quarter has been awful for the Clips so far. Their lead is just down to 3 now.

Ben Gordon just holds the ball and stalls their offense, lol

This game got ugly fast

Damn, Blake took that hard foul.

O'Quinn just got the boot.

Starters calming the waters while Blake gets a face lift

Could that be why he is playing "regular season soft?"

I could understand why he would be. He just gets hammered in the post like this. It's a relief he wasn't injured.

BaadMaster wrote:

That is one of the main reasons why but that doesn't account for his lift, or lack there of.

Blake always plays so well in the first quarter and fades in the second

What a battle we are seeing. Payton Vs Jordan. WOOOO

Already resorting to deck-a-DJ.

Could you back up that over-generalisation? It was the bench that stalled us in the 2nd

I realize that. My point was, when Blake drops 12 or 13 points in the first quarter be comes into the second and puts up 4 or 5 points. Just something I've noticed in some games

Not so lob city today lol

Reddick is beasting today

Beautiful basketball on both ends

Blake is really a good passer. That pass he made to Matt at the corner 3 was so on the money. Too bad Matt missed it.

Redick, lol, not Reddick

That is the hustle from BG I want to see.

Lob City is not happenin' tonight, lol.

Another laffer. Ho hum.

Pretty sure his 2nd quarter mpg is also less, so have to take that into account

Crawford has been playing very tight lately not looking to shoot much. Hope fans haven't broken confidence with hate.

I doubt Crawford, let alone any NBA player, cares about what people online are saying.
