Clippers-Rockets Preview By JORDAN GARRETSON Posted Nov 27 2014 11:07PM The Los Angeles Clippers are putting together a successful trip with efficient offense - particularly in the fourth quarter as they pull away from opponents. They'll look to continue that success Friday night against the Houston Rockets, who own the league's best fourth-quarter defense. The Clippers (9-5) have looked better offensively on the road all season, averaging 107.7 points on 49.2 percent shooting including a 41.3 percent mark from beyond the arc with a 5-2 record. They're averaging 98.9 points and shooting 45.2 percent at home, making 33.5 percent of their shots from deep. Los Angeles....

Big test for us.

This is a good test for the Clippers --- they need to win this game against one of the better Western Conference teams. I hope Blake and DJ bring their defensive A-game. Rebounds, rebounds, rebounds, fellas! And CP needs to continue to be the Point God he's been.

Howard out, Beverley hurt. Perfect opportunity for BG and DJ to have big games.

I'd be disappointed if we lose this, or if CP carries us to a win again.

Given this easy road trip, we should expect a 6-1 record.

Seems like Harden always shrinks against the Clips. Hopefully that trend continues.

Let's go clippers. I am more scared of Utah than this game. Salt lake city sucks for us

Another NBA TV game. Rockets will most likely win for the first time in two years I think because of their record. Prove me wrong LA. Please?

I will need a million updates since i am currently at work...

like.. in depth stuff... hell.. i might go to nba.com and look at the play by play lol

Good bingo to start, JJ!

grrr.. nba.com not loading.. jj bingo.. that tells me we have 3 points lol... what is the current score.

Rockets got a 4 pt on a bs call. And Blake just got hacked but of course they don't call it.

Already chucking 3s.

im looking and we haven't scored in like 4 minutes...

Hopefully the reffing gets better.

Bench barnes for bullock. Everything looks bad when barnes is out there

oh.. so barnes started huh.. Bullock opens up the floor more.. and he's been looking pretty decent on the boards.

Bring big baby in. He'll play with energy

what poison does Black play? All I'm seeing is him scoring.. someones not playing D.

5 point difference doesn't look that bad. but how does the actual game "look"

I wish BG would stop complaining about EVERY call. Become a Top Three player and the refs give it to you.

Looks bad. Play bullock

I've had a really bad day.. I need a Clipper win with some excitement to make me happy.

We don't look good. Slow.

Gosh Blake catches the ball and doesn't even look to score. What is going on???? It's at the point when someone needs to address his physical condition, he looks just not right at all. I'm really worried. Maybe he needs to rest for a few games.

and the worst defense i have ever seen in my life is on display right now. these guys are hopeless. Why do they leave shooters wide open???? Why can they not defend a simple pick and roll? What is going on???? It'sbecome very painful to watch.

If Blake insists on modeling his game on carmelo anthony, we need to trade him.

Wake up Deandre!!!!! Two rebounds he could have gotten in a row.

this is not going to be an indication of how good we are though. Houston missing 3 players

Nice block DJ. Now get a rebound.

Man.. can we get a damn rebound?

Nice play by BG just now, but last season it would have been an "and one." This year, no chance that ball goes in the bucket. I am worried about him.

Double Harden. Just double him. J.J. will be destroyed one on one.

He was afraid to shoot free throws last year. this year he isn't... he tried really really hard last year to get the and 1.. this year he's just trying to get fouled.

Blake didn't slam that one. Last year a flying slam dunk.

eh.. at least he's getting to the line i guess.

10 points in the 1st... that is not bad.

Looks like Blake came to play at least.

We need to start figuring out how to get rebounds. Or trade to get players who know how to do it. It's so old now, and they never learn.

Let's also keep in mind that they are missing TWO starters.

Maybe Blake is saving it for the post season. He surely can't say that. But maybe that is his plan.

He looks average athletically. not like the physical marvel we have all been accustomed to. Is it a permanent trend? when do most players lose their athleticism?

Farmar looks hurt. Put Cunningham in.

I guess we won't see bullock for another 3 games.

If we don't win this game then we really have problems. There's no Dwight. We need to pound it inside consistently.

I agree, If an alien came from another planet and watched the Clippers, they would say BG is a good -- not great -- player.

Unfortunately, "good" will not get the Clippers deep into the playoffs.

I hope he is just saving it for the playoffs as I said.

How big a lead will the second unit give up this quarter? I say we will be down 10 when the starters check back in...this second quarter is always a killer .

Nice hustle big baby!!!!

Farmar's only role is to shoot threes. why do we have him?

I wish we had more player like big baby! Love his play style

Big baby's effort is bar none too notch. Great energy guy off the bench

Nice little runner in the lane by Hawes, Clippers by 7, timeout Houston!
