The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to terms with free agent center Chris Kaman on a one-year deal, according to sources with knowledge of the deal.
Won't like seeing him in a Laker jersey but oh well...at least he'll make his free throws lol.

Not happy about this. How much is he gettin and why didn't the clippers offer him a contract?

That's the worst part around $2mm meaning we could signed him and collison.
Because Donald Sterling made him cry screaming at him for being so terrible and turning the ball over every time he got double teamed...and also because he has many Javel McGee moments when playing..

Unless he plays us in the first week I suspect his foot will give out within that week anyway and we won't see him.
I wouldn't boo him. He never did wrong by us,just was hurt too much.

I'm highly looking forward to the look Kaman gets from Kobe the first time he drops a pass out of bounds lol.
He is going to be their backup C. So not that bad of a move. I wouldn't mind CaveMan as our backup center........

Meh. Good for him getting a contract, but he's really not going to do much for that crap team. Least we can take a new poll on whether the Lakers have the ugliest looking front court in the NBA.

He's only gonna showcase it so we can steal him the following year
With the way Lakers played with Dwight Howard last season, it seems like they ended up getting the same effectiveness.

If Kobe would join the Clippers, I'd become a Kaman Flaker Fan.
I love the idea of kaman signing with the lakers. Too many Laker fans talking about how we have Laker garbage players.
Their front line isn't that bad. If they wanted to start Kaman with Pau........they can bring back Sacre and pair him with Jordan Hill........or Ryan Kelly and Jordan Hill. They got a few combos. I just don't want them to suck. It's not as fun beating the hell out of weak ass teams.......even if they have Kobe's dumb A$$
considering its a one-year deal, I'm not sure if i should change my avatar. there's a decent chance he comes over to us next season (or at least leaves the lakers).
Probably a decent chance he makes all-star again... snake-boy is out for a while and everybody knows it's an NBA rule to have at least one laker there.

His chance of making the All Star team next year are increased if there's a rash of
injuries to players picked over him. 
Funny how Laker fans dogged Kaman for years, now their team just signed him to a contract to play and quite possibly start if things get shaky early on. All Kaman does now is shoot the ball, he's lost all focus when it comes to rebounding, blocking shots or doing anything out there. I think he's just going threw the motions and collecting paychecks.
Looks like Nick Young will be joining the cavemans side too. I think his show boating personality will fit well with the lakers, hopefully he's gotten a little rusty playing all those minutes with the 76ers
