Such BS. Why would they take away the face and star of the franchise that's so promising with potential and younger than Howard?

Why on earth would you give up Blake and Bledsoe for Dwight. NO way! Dwight isn't even that good right now. This is insane! Blake alone for Dwight isn't worth it. Dwight is half himself. This is crazy. Karnett for DeAndre and a first round is fine, no Bledsoe, forget Boston, we don't need KG that bad. I don't like what's happening right now.

IF Chris Paul is demanding he will only resign if we get Howard, then I say adios amigo, well keep Bledsoe and Blake and be young and fun. No way.

If the team really wants to trade Blake and Bledsoe for Howard, then I might just pick a new team to root for after 20+ years of being a clipper fan.

Why make the fakers this offer? They might as well trade Blake, DJ, Caron to other teams with cap space for young and cheap players and future draft picks. Clear cap space and just outright sign Dwight and CP and then build the team that way.

I just believe that the media can make all most anything "believable" A Lot of people DO NOT LIKE "The Clippers" They rather cause confusion and break us meaning "the players" apart. In the end, we can come nobodies all over again and life would be normal for the NBA...

I think the Rumor is just a faint to entertain CP3. FO wants to show CP that they're willing to do ANYTHING to keep him, though I doubt they'd actually pull the trigger on such a deal. I don't even think CP3 would want such a deal to go down. His future is much brighter with Griffin than it could possibly be with Dwight Howard, especially if the trade with the Celtics goes through.

Our stating line up next yr could possibly be: cp3, greene, pierce, garnett, and Howard. Maybe ray Allen want to make amends with the big 3 and join the clippers lol

The reason why this makes no sense to me is because all along CP3 has been wanting Blake to be a jump shooter for their pick and roll. How does that improve with Howard instead of Blake?

I know KG doesn't like to play center, so a trade like this would make him happy

KG and Dwight might be the best front court of all time tbh... the defense, rebounding, and shot blocking would be completely unreal

A team that has Garnett & Pierce in the starting lineup next season are not Championship contenders.

They are both almost 40.

Dwight is not worth BG and Bledsoe.

36 and 37, which is pretty old, but it's not 40.

Here's the thing: a team led by Pierce and Garnett, just a few months ago, made the playoffs. Sure, it was in the East and they were about a .500 team. But imagine that instead of being the best players on a team decimated by injuries(Rondo played only 38 games) and lacking much of a supporting cast(washed up Jason Terry? Jeff Green?) they would be playing alongside Paul and Griffin. As 3rd and 4th options, on a team with younger stars and at the very least Jamal Crawford on the bench, Pierce and Garnett can take a much lighter load, at least until the playoffs. Even at this age, Garnett and Pierce are probably a huge upgrade over Jordan and Butler.

Now, I'm not sure I'd give up what Boston is asking(Jordan, Bledsoe and 2 picks) just for Garnett and Doc. But if those 2 and Pierce find their way here somehow, a lineup of KG-Griffin-Pierce-(Afflalo? Willie?)-Paul with Crawford on the bench would be a damn scary team, even if KG and Pierce aren't the same players they were 5 years ago.

Btw this is a dumb rumor that was already disproved. No way would we trade BG and Bledsoe for a broken down Dwight Howard. It would be an extremely stupid move.
