FYI - Today at 3:30 pm on NBA TV is the Clippers Team Preview. I have AT&T U-Verse so it will be on Channel 632. Direct TV it's on Channel 216 if I remember correctly.

Thanks!
Thanks bruh!
Is anyone watching the team preview? What is up with that secret scout segment. That was corny as ****
I agree with Brent Barry. With Grant here it'll lighten the load on Chauncey's responsibilities. Chauncey was such a large part of this team last year before he got injured. It's nice to now have two veterans that can use their experience to help this team. I lol'd at the slow-mo dunk they showed of Blake on Gasol and the other slow-mo of Blake lifting off and Curry getting the heck out of the way.
I had to DVR it since I am at work.
Not bad. I was surprised C-Webb said that Blake is exactly where he should be in his development. It seems like he's always been looking for some way to underrate him.
As for the best case/worst case... I agree that if things got really sh!tty we could finish as low as 6th in the West, but WCF as best case? Really? Would anybody be sooooo shocked if we got to the finals with everything having gone our way? With the talent we have?
A championship this year is a serious reach in my opinion, but coming out of the West... not so much.
IMO there is really no team outside the top 4 in the west that can beat us in a series. The team we didn't match up well with last year was Memphis and we beat them injured and on the road, and we have improved much more than them. Out of the Lakers, Spurs, and Thunder, I honestly don't want to play the Spurs. They match up well against us, but not against OKC or LAL, so we won't see them 3rd round. If we finish 4th, than we play either LAL or OKC round 2 and I think we can beat them, as seen last year. If we finish 3rd or second, than we will again play likely either LAL or OKC, as I don't think the Spurs would be ahead of them in the regular season. Then, if we finish 1st, obviously we know what we are doing so the matchup won't really matter. As long as we are in the Top 4 and we don't get a major injury or obviously upset round 1, I like our chances.
LOL at us being 6th. We were 1 game from 3rd last year and we only fell because CP3 rested last two that we nearly won anyways. The growth of Bledsoe+DJ+Griffin alone could be enough to push us top 3 let alone the added talent. This is the problem with most analysts... they don't judge the Clippers realistically but underrate the piss out of them. Only a few like Broussard and Shaq really believe in this team.
Didn't get a chance to watch it but will try to catch it before the game later,I think they will show the Clippers team preview and then the Heats team preview right before the game.
People forget how good we did last year even with no Billups who made this team a LOT better. His play effected everyone on the team, mainly Butler and DJ.We had a decent bench but lacked in the 3 and 5 spot and we still made it to the 2nd round and were a game away from the 3rd spot in the West.I really beleive if Chancey wasn't injuried and we brought in Kmart and Young with Chancey being healthy we would have been kept our spot at 3 or possible gotten higher.
Now we have one of if not the deepest bench in the league and our whole team will hopefully be healthy by November.I think we should be better than the Spurs for sure and will be battling it out for the top spot against the Lakers and OKC.Spurs are an amazing team but with the bench we have we should be able to compete and beat them now.I like the underdog role but saying we can only make it the the WCF is a stretch when we matched up very well with OKC last year and we have gotten even better now.
As much as we all like the Clippers, lets get serious, there are more Laker fans out there. The analysts say what the majority want to hear, and that is that the Lakers will win. I obviously don't like it, but it is what it is. That's why we get overshadowed and underrated.
coming out of the west will be tough, because we arent one of the "protected" teams. give us unbiased reffing and ill be damned if we dont come out of the west. since that wont happen, i guess we have to rely on the talent we have. comparing the so called better teams than the clips, which team has a deeper, more balanced team than the clips? if everything goes good in a best case scenario, i dont see why the clips wont be facing either miami or boston in the finals. i do agree a lot of the previews are based on appeasing the teams who have the most fans, and that unfortunately leads the media outlets to almost hand the titles to the flakers. but thats fine, we will always be the underrated team. and thats fine
Don't be offended if they seed us to be worst as 6th place. Actually I'll take that than missing out on the playoff. I agree on their assessment, it would be hard to get out WCF because damn Lakers and their 4 superstars. Not saying we can't do it, just saying it would be really tough. The Steve Nash factor would always bother me.

I believe they were refering to 6th being the worst case scenario. Best case was WCF.
yea but its funny how they gave the spurs worst case scenatio 4th seed in the west and best case winning the chip when the spurs didnt really add much to what they already had last year and if anything duncan is a yr older...smh
They have the growth of Leonard, and Pop is very good in managing minutes, so yeah I don't think they could ever drop lower than 4th!
I can dig where you're coming from, but they have to look at what the Spurs have done. They won't get a lower rank until they have a less than great season.
^ problem with the spurs is that duncan's age is showing and thiago splitter is not a suitable replacement. ginobili is too injury prone. but i agree they will always be put in a as a perennial top 4 team
