Is Eric Bledsoe the most exciting Clippers player?

Clippers Forum » Clippers News & General Discussions

I was just thinking about how this year my most exciting times are when Bledsoe is on the court. CP3 taking over down the stretch is equal but is it just me or are the Clippers boring without Bledsoe for the most part this year? This guy just has that big play ability. When he's on the court you always get surprised with something and he's entertaining as hell.

He might be the most athletic, fastest, and most unpredictable.

If he can get his game under control, he will be a beast for us.

yes yes yes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EB is my favorite Clipper (used to be EJ :/) and I love watching him play but the kid is stuck in 5th gear haha Still though, he's a game changer and its scary to think he is only going to get ALOT better!

he seems to be the most exciting player because he plays out of control. Similar to how he did last year. One thing I have always like about him is his jump shooting ability and his scoring. It seems he has the hops he had last year so if he can learn to control himself out their he can be a serviceable backup

Like boxing, speed kills when you hit the target. Once he starts hitting the target more accurately, he will be delivering a lot of KO's for us. I swear he could've been a running back in the NFL.

I'm just glad he's living up to the faith the organization and most fans had in him. He still has A LOT to learn, but there's no doubt he's improving at quite a clip. I love watching him on the court... even CP3 sometimes defers to him when they're out there together.

bledsoe is a freakish athlete with skill. might be the most athletic player in the league. he just needs to make smarter basketball decisions. that comes with experience. in 3 years, he might be up there with rondo. that would be a luxury for us for sure. @paolo, speed does kill. bledsoe could have been any type of pro athlete he wanted. its sick how athletic he is. hes also built like a tank. people sometimes forget that he was the player that guided kentucky far into the ncaa tourney and not john wall. he was the 18th pick because of his height. if he had been 6'3 he would have been a top 5 pick.

just a thought ,what do you guys think bout putting Eric on westbrook tonight when he comes in ?? i think he will be the Ace in the hole for us tonight >>>> plz larry brown coach my clips next yr !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Playing Bledsoe with CP3 in the backcourt together is a NIGHTMARE for other teams to deal with the Grizzlies couldn't even get the ball in the post in the 4th Quarter last night sh*t Bledsoe even blocked Z Randolph shot nasty at one point. With both players on the floor our team just gets out running.Oh and if there ever was a game we should play Bledsoe a lot its tonight I cant wait to see him frustrate Westbrook who I still think is who Bledsoe most resembles in the nba.I'd like to see more of that line up from last night I think were on to something. >>>DJ,Blake,Butler(or Young whoever is shooting better that night)Bledsoe(I'd only have Foye in there if he's making his 3's early), CP3

He could very well be in the next year or two. But he's working on it. He is only going to get better learning from the one and only CP3.

Bledsoe is fun to watch

Bledsoe is sick, crazy hops and super fast with the ball. But do you guys really think he is a better athlete than bg? Blake can do dunks no one in the league can do thanks to his athletic ability, but bledsoe's highlights are comparable to those of nate robinson or westbrook. Both are freak athletes of course, but my point is blake can do dunks NO ONE can do.

It will be Bledsole's 3rd year in the league next season, that's when I think he'll really be exciting.

i do. im pretty sure ebled's vertical is above 43 inches. that put back dunk he did on the kings was gnarly. plus u have to factor in that ebled is only 6 feet tall but with freakishly long arms. i believe his wingspan is of 6'9. yeah BG is a freak as well. best dunker in the game. best since vinsanity. but regarding athleticism i think ebled takes it. not a by a lot.

Look up Bled's highlights in college. I think he had a few of those putbacks with Kentucky.

Even though he shows flashes of brilliance, he still makes a lot rookie type of mistakes.

But I agree with "Tense 2," Bledsoe will have a break out year next season.

I don't know if he's the most exciting, but he's a damn good backup to CP3. The question is, what do we do with Mo for the rest of the year? I don't see where he'll fit in.

bledsoe hustles. by far my favorite clipper. i was mad when they were talking about trading him in a package deal to blazers for crawford. i hope we keep him.

^ agreed. i was pissed as well. i have always liked the kid. lots of potential and an excellent defender.

He's definitely one of our most exciting players, but I think Blake takes the cake as far as being the most exciting guy.

EB is definately a monster on D but he got to play his natural game on O, push fast breaks whenever there is an opportunity and when half court driving and dishing or finishing himself, when he tries to play like CP3 slow and takes long jumpers the result is never good

I duuno,,I find something amazing about a lot of our players. CP3 fascinates me the most,,,I can watch him all day. Blake and DJ are raw power. Eric is a fricken speed demon. I am a pet owner and my dog is a retired racing greyhound,,Eric reminds me of a greyhound with his speed. Dude just flies.

This. I've always loved to watch CP, even before he was a Clipper. He's really pretty amazing when you think about it. For a guy his size, with basically averge to marginal athleticism, to be able to control and take over games like he does, is remarkable. I've never seen another guy seemingly able to get to where he wants on the court at will like CP does.

But Bledsoe is a pretty amazing athlete. He's right up there with Westbrook and Rose in terms of pure athleticism, but I think might be stronger than both those guys. There's not another guard in the league quite like him in terms of the offensive rebounds and blocks he gets.

Other then the obvious CP3 and Blake the answer is yes.

He is one of the exciting guy that I am glad is recovering from his injury well. If he can sink more shots he would be a great threat with that speed!
