Eric Gordon and Chris Kaman view of new season

Eric Gordon eased his way into the Clippers' training facility Wednesday, his first day there since the NBA lifted the lockout and allowed players to work out at team sites. He talked about the high expectations the Clippers have and how he supports Mo Williams and Blake Griffin saying they will be in the playoffs this season. Gordon also talked about the business of basketball, specially the contract extension he's seeking. The guard is in the final year of a contract that was supposed to pay him $3.8 million before the NBA shortened the season to 66 games. Gordon probably will get a four-season deal in the range of $10 million to $12 million per season, said several NBA executives who were not authorized to speak on the matter. Gordon would get raises of 7.5% each season, based on the new collective bargaining agreement. Gordon was second on the team in scoring last season, averaging 22.3 points per game. "Well, of course you think about it," Gordon said of an extension. "But at this point, you definitely want to stay somewhere. I look forward to staying here. I'm not really worried about it. I just got to come here and look forward to practice on Friday." As much as Gordon wants to stay in Los Angeles, he's aware that his name was mentioned in trade talks. The Clippers have been rumored as one of the teams trying to acquire New Orleans point guard Chris Paul. The Hornets asked about Gordon, but the Clippers refused to part with him. "Wherever I end up is where you end up," Gordon said. "I really don't worry about that. It's whatever situation you're in you step in and you overcome whatever obstacle or situation they put you in." Gordon normally is somewhat reserved and cautious when he talks, but he wouldn't shy away from....

Eric Gordon is the man. i love how he backed Blake and Mo in their guarantee to make the playoffs this year. Kaman, on the other hand, is a punk. "dont like to make statements like that.." ship his a** outta here..

Kaman can't even guarantee making point blank layups. Time to trade him and move on.

big ups king kaman. welcome back!

best clipper personality ever.

Kaman the realist. I don't hate on Kaman for being reserved...Unlike Mo. He was the one who started this and dragged BG into this crap.

Some of these are short. The guy isn't a donkey. His problems are inconsistency and he gets dunked on a lot (poor D) IF--- he could bring that we'd not be talking about trading him but he don't bring it a lot.

I don't think we should ruin the team by making trades for cp3. We finally reached our point where we wanted to be and now to trade our roster. This is the first year in a while when most of our players are coming back. Kaman is one of my favorite clippers I wouldn't trade him if we get Butler u can never have to many big men on your team. Plus he can bring things that DJ can't and DJ brings things Kaman can't. I would start DJ cause of the chemistry him and Blake have

After watching those video, I came up w/ one conclusion, Kaman needs to grow his long blonde hair back, lol

based on the recent developments of dj getting a 5 year- 55 million dollar offer, then we have to keep kaman. extend gordon asap. enough with the trade rumors. we need a backup center and a shooter. bring novak and pachulia in. we need depth more than trades.
