Have you seen a grown man cry? sorry for the length I'm PO'd

I missed the games fortunately but I saw the interview with Butler and he was about to cry. We may never win another game. I've never seen anyone with his heart cut out like that. I've never felt so depressed even during the last two seasons. At least there were "excuses" - injuries. We started the season setting the world on fire but I think BD pissed on our match. Yeah I know it's time to "Blow up" the team, think about "F A" next year blah blah but I HATE TO LOSE. If you don't have the passion....

Obviously I haven't watched Butler's interview but the first thought I have is those players have proved they couldn't reach the PO's losing games like New Jersey and Minnesota, so I feel no sorry for them. Once you lose this kind of games you are sending a clear message: You don't wanna play the POs or at least to fight for them. So sincerely the players can't say anything since they have had the opportunity to fight but they didn't take it and they just give up.

The rest of the season will be a nightmare but at least we already know it...It was non realistic to believe we still could make a run for the PO this year.

I think the problems this season go far beyond the players' attutudes. It takes real expertise to screw up this bad and the players except BD aren't that good. If a team beats two World Champs then gets stomped by the worst around, it's not the players. There's a cancer somewhere. It's despair. Do they have novelas this bad in Spain?

Players had the opportunity but they just didn't take it. We won the Celts and the Lakers but I think they were missing some players. Obviously it's not all players fault but they are the main actors when we win, and the main actors when we lose.

Did you really believe that we still could make a run for the PO before the trades? If so, you are a really optimistic person.

And no. There are no novelas this bad in Spain. Clippers are unique all over the world.

Anyway I encorage to see it from another point of view and imagine that something good can happen this summer. At least, we know Dunleavy will try to make the best team possible and who knows...maybe he decides to comeback as our COACH!!!!hahahahahaha

This season was a wash as soon as Griffin was injured in October. Who knows how things will play out or where we will be August 1, but I do know that we are at least making an effort to reshape our roster for the better instead of standing idly by while everyone else does. This isn't a normal off-season. We will have another high pick, Griffin coming in next year, a new coach hopefully, and many solid if not star free agents to choose from. Next year if we make no progress then yeah we're in trouble.

Hope springs eternal in Clipperland, but this off-season offers more hope than most... We have a good young core. I think Dunleavy will hire a good coach and now that he's GM only, I think he'll build a better roster than we had this year even if we do get spurned by the top free agents... The second tier of free agents will be bargains.

If we can somehow shed ourselves of Baron's contract, the skies will be very blue for next year...

the last few games have definitely been very painful to watch. I really do have the most hope i have had in a while though. Hopefully we ge a decent pick and then also hopefully we pick up a good FA or two. Then with Blake Griffn coming back and maybe Outlaw playing for us... things are really looking up:)

But, at the end of the day, as a clippers fan we always have to hope or else we will probably well... no need to go down that road...

Butler talks like that in every interview. It looks like he's about to cry everytime I see him talk.

in my close to 20 years following this sinking ship, we've NEVER EVER EVER EVER had such a surplus of young talent. therefore, consider this year different from the rest. blowing up the team and starting from scratch in this type of situation is not the same as starting from scratch when you have players like mo taylor and lorenzen wright.

its a necessary evil. if we were to keep playing with the talent we had and not made moves it would have meant more of the same - competing at a mediocre level, getting nothing in return for our aging players, watching our young talent witness no attempt to avoid perpetual losing and thus bolting from the organization when they become free agents.

believe it or not, we have a good thing going right now. it may not seem like it based on our current record, but believe me, i havent been this optimistic since god knows when.

cheers.

Thanks for changing my diaper. I feel better after dumping all that s**t

I think we go for a coach first to understand where our team's focus is and then we get our FA's to fit! CANT WAIT!

Couldn't agree more. Don't get me wrong we weren't making the playoffs but scrapping the season in? That to me is ridiculous and something I hoped the brave Clippers would never ever do.
