Clippers to Draft Javaris Crittenton?

Clippers Forum » Clipper Rumors
According to an Yahoo article, the Clippers have their minds set on Javaris Crittenton for their pick, and that Acie Law could fall all the way down to 20 or lower. Here's the article: Texas A&M point guard Acie Law is the most likely candidate to become the NBA draft's version of Brady Quinn, a player who fell much further than anticipated. League executives believe Law could be the last draft-night invitee to leave Madison Square Garden's green room, possibly falling to the Miami Heat at No. 20. The Los Angeles Clippers are believed to have settled on Georgia Tech freshman....

Hmm... I just dont like the idea of picking of a freshman PG. Supposedly Elgin Baylor likes taller Point Guards, and many think Crittenton would be exactly what the Clippers want. I say we try to get Law, Young or Stuckey first. We'll find out tomorrow.

Sorry to have to inform you guys that it is Nick Young. Don't worry, he will be great, maybe even rookie of the year.

Yeah this latest article from the Times seems to suggest either Nick Young, Thad Young, or Julian Wright:

Nick Young is definitely a big possibility, esp. since he came in for TWO workouts. But it could all be smokes & mirrors in hopes of throwing off teams picking before them. Elgin says that they'd like to get someone who can help right away, but if apparently that player is already picked then they may well go for potential, which may well mean Thaddeus Young. He's touted has having big time potential & athleticism:

Whoa check out this highlight package of Thad Young in the Jordan Classic where he was selected as MVP (over Kevin Durant & others): Here's a clip of him and others in a recent workout with the Wizards: His stats at Georgia Tech: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/player/profile?playerId=31619 41% 3's- not too shabby. Here's an analysis of all the collegiate small forwards in the draft- it suggests that Thad lacks toughness and shoots too much from the outside: http://www.draftexpress.com/viewarticle.php?a=2118 Overall however I wouldn't have a problem with the Clippers picking him- the guy seems very smooth, athletic, smart, and somewhat of a steal if you think about it at #14....

I still think if we'd drafted him he wouldn't give us what we needed we needed what fitted in Mike Dunleavy's system.

Ummmmm you can delete this blog........somebody was misinformed!!
