Bradley Beal has officially declined his 5.6 million dollar player option, moving into unrestricted free agency. This decision opens up a roster spot and potential cap flexibility for the Clippers as they look to retool the backcourt. Losing a veteran scorer of his caliber creates a significant void that the front office will need to address quickly through the open market. Does the team have enough depth to survive his departure, or is this a major blow to the championship window?

We'll be fine without him. He didn't play much, so we don't know exactly how his injury affected us negatively. Losing Beal and Collins is not a big loss, but I wish would have also let Lopez go.

Exactly- not sure if he'll get a better deal by declining his player option either. Though I thought Lopez was a huge contributor and should continue to have a good impact on the team, especially it's still unknown how Niederhauser will come back from his injury.

I'm good with it. Wagler, Dunn, DJJ and Mathurin, assuming he comes back, will all see time at the two spot. No need for an old guy like Beal

A hip fracture is VERY unusual. Nobody ever said what the injury was, so we don't know what his potential is. That bothers me. Also, he is declining

I expected this. He was a great pick up last year, but injuries had other plans. He has no role here with us anymore.

Miami looks to be the place for him to wind up. Pelle Larson and THJ are the only 2G's on the roster plus Miami seems to be where FA's like to go

Especially with Giannis now on the roster. People are going to want to sign there.
