Terrible news- feel awful for Yanic. Just when he was playing so well SMH. Hopefully he will make a complete recovery and be back 100% sometimes next season. Apparently recovery time is 6 to 12 months.

Well that sucks. OTOH, I like the Zu trade a little more due to bringing in Jackson. Now, he can fill in YKN's minutes and we'll get a better idea of who he is. Is he the guy who helped the Pacers to the ECF two seasons ago or is he a player who probably won't be the same again due to injury. We'll find out now
I can’t say it was unexpected after seeing him get hurt and helped off the court. You can see that he was the main reason Zu was expendable. Yanic has star written all over him and if he can stay on the court moving forward imo he will surpass anything that Zu could have offered us.
Yanic is an absolute beast, but one thing he should've gleaned from Zu is how to play under the rim successfully.
He's put himself in similar situations to the one that got him injured all season long. I'd look to draft another project to back him up. I-Jax is decent, but he's pretty lineup specific and doesn't offer much more than his athletic ability, rim running, and helpside shot blocking. Brook won't be around much longer, maybe another year... two at the most?
I think it's going to be a necessary evil. Go get another guy. Yanic is a Michael Bay movie stuntman. Still thankful for how skilled he is and how good of a figure he is on the team. Can't wait to see him back out there again.
