Alterna Picks for Stat-crazed Fans

Hey gang,

One of the cool parts of this site has been the guess the score game... Honestly, there was one time I guessed the exact score correctly and it was such a thrill!

A buddy of mine (and dormant, but active CTB user) created a platform called Alterna Picks. Check out the website if you are a stat crazy individual - I guess since Fantasy Basketball and the "Analytics" era, everyone is focusing on stats.

Well, you can now enjoy making picks and seeing how they turn out. Like sports betting with no money. Or fantasy sports - I think (haven't played fantasy basketball enough to know for sure).

Yeah that looks like a pretty good site- hope your friend finds success with it! Got a lot on my plate right now, but yeah I could lookin into improving guess the score so it's more interesting. Did add the jackpot feature like a year or two ago, but perhaps I can add bonus for guess e.g. the top scorer as well.

My AlternaPicks are not as strong as my game score guessing... individual stats are a lot harder to predict. Even simple over/under guesses.

I am pretty sure my guess last night was close though - David I get an error on the Guess The Score page:

Oh, maybe it took some time to take effect.

More recently I am talking about the Game Score page. The error is what I get when I arrive at "Guess the Score" page.

The page following "https://clippers.newssurge.com/guess-the-score.php" is still displaying the error message.

And the error pops up when I think I guessed the score correctly?!

Did I break the system?

Like I said, the luck is not translating so well with individual stats on AlternaPicks... but I got to see the animation of the jackpot here! Nicely done

Sad I had to guess us losing, and be right, but I am proud of my individual forecasting ability - lol.

My picks for tonight's game vs IND:

-B Math over 18.5pts

-I Jax over 7.5 pts

-Klaw under 29.5 pts

-Klaw under 6.5 reb

-D Garland over 7.5 ast

-D Garland over 2.5 3PM

Apparently the stats world is priming Klaw for a monster game, but I think we are able to take care of business and not need to rely on him and his production. He'll mess around and get his ~25pts, and maybe not need to be the Board man (I just realized I picked both his unders).

And I am hoping the IND pair of B Math and iJax go off on their former team. Hoping Garland shares the rock a bit more, if not I am anticipating he keeps shooting that 3 ball.

I got my first 6 of 6 = 100% correct picks/guesses!

I picked all of Klaw's unders - I anticipated we'd get up big and let the rest of the crew handle the rest.

I was right - and really got risky with Dunn's over, but it worked out!

Getting a little creative this game... what do we think?

Picking a Batum card, and hoping for #22 to get a little better versus PDX.
