KL & JH very sharp thus far, both with 14 now as the Beard drains the bingo! The question is- can they carry even just 60% of this into the second half?

Gobert that looked like a reckless closeout- dangerous play. Thankfully Harden didn't get hurt there.
Flagrant on Gobert after review- Harden gets 3 FTs and Clippers retain possession after that.
JH the J, and that's 19 for him in the first half. Oh no Dunn had a layup but lost control at the buzzer. Still, Clips up 56-42 at the half.
Clippers got lucky there as Kawhi gets his shot blocked from behind and the ball goes right to Zu for the slam
Terrific sequence- Clips with good D forcing a miss by Edwards, then the excellent push by Harden to Zu for the layup
There we go again- jumpers coming up short, and now a turnover, and the Clipper lead is cut to 8
Terrible possession out of the timeout ends up with a last second heave by Harden which missed. Minny is hot now and hitting everything- Clips need more of that pick and roll by Harden & Zu.
Zu gets hit hard in the face by Randle's elbow. Thankfully he seems to be okay. Clips challenged that and the refs correctly changed it to an offensive by Randle.
Doh now Dunn misses a 2 footer, and the Wolves run the other way for an and-1
Collins just muffed it out of bounds there, but he Clippers are challenging for some reason. Ah- looks like Gobert hit Collins in the arm which could've caused it.
Challenge successful- great job by the bench to go for that challenge. This game can come down to a couple of possessions, so that can turn out to be big.
Superb drop-step move by Zu inside vs Gobert for 2, pushes it back to 7
James Harden, with these 2 FTs, has now moved to number 10 in all time scoring, surpassing Carmelo. Next up would be Shaq at #9 only about 200 points away.

This Clipper team reminds me of the hapless ones from 20 to 30 years ago lol. Back then they'd fight hard just like this but nearly always come up short.
I support SoCal players BIGTIME. PG, Kawhi, and Jrue Holiday have been my favorite players since arriving in the NBA.
I have been and always will be a hardcore Clippers fan, but in the background I'll always be supporting our SoCal athletes.
The 213 Era was a dagger to the heart. As cool as PG seems, the lack of hustle and accountability was a huge downer.
Jrue is in Portland, rotting away... and tonight, there was a possession where Kawhi couldn't dribble by Julius Randle.
Well, I think there was a few of them, but one in particular stuck out. This is the moment I know that he's not the same.
This makes me extremely sad. Blow it up, don't blow it up... whatever. I just want to see us win. We're better than this.
TLue/JVG are NOT doing a good job. If the team can't play well in 3rd Qtrs, 10 game sample sizes is not an excuse.
