Clippers at Celtics Game Day 2025-11-16

Clipper second unit has done quite the job- great work by the reserves cut the Celtics lead down to single digits.

Tremendous hustle by Batum- first the dive to save the ball, now the chase-down block.

Harden- a terrible start as he turns the ball over again, leading to another Celtics layup.

Nice sequence there Harden the pnr with Collins, but the Celtics keeps drilling jumpers, and not great at getting back on D.

The hole has grown to 18 as the starters unable to make open 3's

Oh no DJJ has hurt his right knee as Brown forearmed slammed into it on the fall. UGH- hope it's not too serious.

Not good at all as DJJ has to be helped to the locker room. Hopefully it's not a season ending one but doesn't look good.

8 straight by the Clips, cuts it to 10. Bogie is in for DJJ

Nightmarish start to the second half as Harden the risky, bad pass results in a fastbreak 3, and now he gets called for a carry, and Celts hit another 3. Now John Collins open from deep, doesn't shoot it, possession ends up with a bad pass by Bogie, and the Clips are now down 22.

Wow that is the 8th 3 by Pritchard. 8 of 11.

That's yet another airballed or blocked 3 by Harden. But Zu keeps working- rebounds it, then gets the and 1, cuts it to 21.

Celtics are committing a lot of fouls here, but if you look at the Clippers foul situation- they only have 6 total and we're almost halfway through the 3rd Q. Tells you that guys aren't being aggressive enough on D.

Awful call by the refs that cost the Clippers 2 points- Garza falls battling Zu inside as Bogie laid it in, and they say that was a foul on Zu lol

Clippers on a nice run here as the starters are finally getting traction. Driving banker by Harden, and now Dunn to Collins inside for 2- Clips have cut it to 11.

They double Harden off of Bogie, who drills the 3. Now the Beard crossover stepback- bingo! Clips amazingly down just 5 now going into the 4th. Let's go!

Bogie didn't cut for some reason after dumping the ball off- could've had another layup opportunity. Then throws the ball away SMH

Batum another heady block from behind- this time he gets Brown

What a dribble move by Harden there causes Pritchard to fall down, lays it in. Now drills the bingo after a nice job poking the ball away on D. 5 point game!

Kobe Sanders hard drive to the hoop, gets decked via the body- no foul. Now they run the other way and Harden has to foul. Let's see if the Cippers have any fight left. Down 7, 2:28 left.

Now Harden gets tripped up on his drive, no foul. No chance if refs aren't going to call the fouls.

Wow they actually call a foul. Harden to shoot 3. Can cut it to 3 at the line, but there are only 22 ticks left.

Ouch- Clips don't foul but allow a slam dunk. That may well do it.

The Beard, drains another bingo with 8.5 left. Slices it to 2!

Surprised that Batum wasn't in there. Clips foul White, but he makes both, now Harden splashes another holy crap! But only 2 seconds left, Clips down 1, Celtics to inbound.

They foul Pritchard, 1.6 left. Clips with no timeout left.

What a play by the Clippers but Harden could not make it. Tremendous pass by Dunn to Zu who relayed it to the Beard, but it was just a tad short.

An amazing last 18 minutes of the second half by Harden- he was lights out after an awful first. Ends up with 37-8-7, most of them in the last 15 minutes or so.

Bogie, Kobe Sanders and Batum also with good showings. Fingers crossed that DJJ's injury is not severe!

You can see the difference in not having a legit 3rd option. We traded our 3rd option for a really Good role player. Beal was supposed to be that replacing scorer.

Here we are with our 2nd option injured (Kawhi), no 3rd option, and Harden shouldering the Entire load of our team. Sadness…

I feel sad for Harden who does so much but you know he always gonna get blamed for everything. Meanwhile Kawhi never plays, and then commentators who don’t watch our team be disrespectful and says Kawhi “the best player on the team”.

Tell me you don’t watch our team without saying you don’t watch our team. Lol

Highlights:

�'�! No matter his performances, which have been mostly good, Harden has shown up. So he deserves a ton of credit for that. He's the main guy who makes the team go, period. Right now he's on a roll, and without KL & Beal, and now possibly DJJ for awhile, it's going to take these exceptional performances by Harden for the Clippers to get a W it seems. But hopefully KL comes back soon, and it's been nice to see Bogie, Sanders and Miller (who's now injured himself) step up.
